In addition, when people are having a conversation, they do not only convey implicit meaning using these two kinds of implicature, but they also use figures of speech such as idioms, similes, sarcasms and hyperbole. This research is conducted to analyze the phenomena of conversational implicatures which occur in the dialogues of Pure Nectardrama script.This research uses a descriptive qualitative design. The data source is the drama script of Pure Nectar obtained from www.simplyscripts.com. Moreover, there are four stages for the researcher to analyze the data: (1) reading thoroughly the Pure Nectar drama script, (2) finding out all implicatures occurring in the conversations by all the casts, (3) identifying all the implicatures through numbering and categorization, and (4) drawing a conclusion.The results of data analysis showthat there are 75 utterances that contain conversational implicatures; they are classified into six groups.In terms of their frequency of occurrence, they are presented in the following order: generalized conversational implicature (66.67%), idiom (17.33%), simile (6.67%), particularized conversational implicature (5.33%), sarcasm (2.67%), and hyperbole (1.33%).Furthermore, this research also reveals that all the 75 utterances containing implicatures fall into two categories: 71 direct speech acts (94.67%) and 4 indirect speech acts (5.33%). Within the 71 direct speech acts, there are 57 declarative sentences (76%), 8 interrogative sentences (10.67%), and 6 imperative sentences (8%).On the basis of these research findings, it is suggested that the future researchers investigate particularly on clausal implicature, which belongs to generalized conversational implicature, so as to provide detailed information about implicit ways of conveying speaker meaningin the field of pragmatics
