    美國平均每年至少會發生一百五十萬起用藥不當的錯誤。相關的研究報告指出,透過高度整合性的醫療資訊流程系統,不僅僅會降低使用者對於服用藥物認知上的誤解,也可以幫助使用者遵循服藥指引,達到更高、更好的醫療品質。在本論文中,我們提出一個醫療資訊流程整合平台的架構,並籍由實作既定的醫療流程來驗證此平台具備彈性、高度整合性以及自動化等重要特性。在此整合平台架構中,我們運用網路服務技術來模組化各個異質性醫療用途的軟硬體元件,因而能夠互相交換訊息,進而互相溝通合作,此外利用工作流引擎,來自動化既定醫療服務流程,降低人力的介入。本論文 堙A我們也實作一個雛型的藥物檢查專家工具,此工具透過設計良好的處方箋代數運算語言來檢查藥物與藥物之間交互拮抗的情況,進而降低藥物拮抗作用發生的可能性。因此透過整合既有的醫療用途的軟硬體元件和藥物檢查專家工具,我們確實可以降低用藥不當發生的機會,並且幫助使用者擁有更好的醫療服務品質。最後,基於我們提出的整合平台架構,系統整合者可以根據使用者、醫療專業機構或人員的需求彈性地客製化不同醫療服務流程系統。Medication errors harm at least 1.5 million people every year in the United States. Studies shows that a highly collaborative medication-use process will not only eliminate communication errors among medical professionals but also help users follow medication directions. In this thesis, we design and implement an integration framework to automate the process and eliminate medication errors in the classical medication-use process. In the integration framework, we use Web services and workflow engine to orchestrate different heterogeneous medication sub-systems to work together. To automate the process, we also design and prototype a medication authoring tool. The tool makes use of a special designed prescription algebra to eliminate the interactions among medications. The tool which is part of medication-use process is designed to help pharmacists verify drug-drug interactions among submitted prescriptions. Hence, we can enhance medication compliance and prevent medication errors through integrating these medication sub-systems.
