No full textYÖK Tez No: 590184Esat Mahmut Karakurt'un Romanlarında Kadın Kahramanlar adlı çalışma, Esat Mahmut Karakurt'un 1926-1960 yılları arasında kitap olarak yayımlanmış on altı romanında geçen kadın kahramanların incelemesini esas alır. Çalışmanın amacı Esat Mahmut Karakurt'un romanlarında geçen kadın kahramanları, onların fizyolojik, sosyolojik ve psikolojik durumlarını ve içinde bulundukları hâller doğrultusunda sergiledikleri davranış biçimlerini bilimsel metotlar kullanarak tespit etmek, incelemek ve elde edilen bilgilerden hareketle genellemelere ulaşmaktır. Söz konusu amaçlar doğrultusunda çalışmada seçilen konular, eser incelemesinde kullanılan çağdaş bilimsel yöntemler tespit edilerek Esat Mahmut Karakurt'un romanlarına uygulanmıştır. Yazarın romanlarında yer alan kadın kahramanlara ait fizyolojik, psikolojik ve sosyolojik unsurlar tasnif edilmiş ve belli sonuçlara ulaşılmıştır. Yapılan incelemeler sonucunda ulaşılan sonuçlar; Esat Mahmut Karakurt'un romanlarında yer alan kadın kahramanların fizyolojik, sosyolojik ve psikolojik özelliklerinin aydınlatılmasına katkı sağlayacaktır. The aim of this study is to identify and examine the protagonists of Esat Mahmut Karakurt's novels, their physiological, sociological and psychological situations and the behaviors they exhibit using scientific methods, and to reach generalizations based on the obtained information. For these purposes, the selected subjects were determined and applied to Esat Mahmut Karakurt's novels by determining contemporary scientific methods used in the study. Physiological, psychological and sociological elements of the female heroes in the novels of the author have been classified and certain conclusions have been reached. The results of the investigations will contribute to the elucidation of the physiological, sociological and psychological characteristics of the female protagonists in Esat Mahmut Karakurt's novels

No full textBu çalışma, Mahmut Yesari'nin kaleme aldığı tiyatrolarından seçilmiş eserleri üzerine tematik bir incelemeyi hedeflemektedir. Yazarın eserlerini oluşturmada göz önünde bulundurduğu temaların tespitinin ve tasnifinin daha iyi yapılabilmesi için yazarın yalnızca ulaşılabilen telif eserleri üzerinde incelemelerde bulunulmuştur. Mahmut Yesari, çeşitli türlerde yazmış olduğu eserleri ile döneminde adından çokça söz ettirmiştir. Tespit edilebilen eserlerinin toplamı yüzü geçmiş olmasına rağmen ölümünden sonra gereken değeri görmemiştir. Ancak son yıllarda yapılan çalışmalar ışığında Yesari'nin sanatsal değeri fark edilmeye başlanmıştır. Realist üslubunun ilhamını gündelik yaşamdan alan Mahmut Yesari için gözlem her şeydir. Dolayısıyla onun tiyatrolarında gündelik yaşamda karşılaşılan insanlar ve mümkün olabilecek trajikomik hadiseler, belirli temalarla ustalık ve titizlikle işlenmiştir. Çalışmamızın amacı, söz konusu temaları -yazarın tiyatro görüşünden de hareketle- bilimsel bir yöntem ile tespit ve tasnif etmektir. Amaçlar ışığında yazarın seçilmiş telif eserleri, edebiyat kuramlarının yöntemlerine uygun bir şekilde incelenmiş ve tasnifleri sağlanmıştır. Yapılan incelemeler sonucunda Mahmut Yesari'nin tiyatro anlayışı, eserlerinde yer verdiği temalar ve bunların gündelik yaşam ile ilişkisi ile ilgili hususlarda gelecekte yapılacak olan çalışmalara katkı sağlayabilecek belirli veriler elde edilmiştir.This study aims a thematic review of Mahmut Yesari's selected works from his theaters. In order to identify and classify much better the themes that the author took into consideration while creating his works, only accessible copyrights of the author were examined. Mahmut Yesari made a distinguished name for himself in his era with his works written in various genres. In spite of the fact that the total number of his available works exceeded 100, he did not see as much value as he deserved after his death. However, the artistic value of Yesari has begun to be noticed in the light of the studies carried out in recent years. Observation is the most important thing for Mahmut Yesari who takes the inspiration of his realist style from everyday life. Therefore, the people in daily life and possible tragicomic events in his theaters were masterly and meticulously narrated with certain themes. The aim of our study is to identify and classify these themes with a scientific method on the basis of the author's theatre view. In the light of the aims, the author's selected copyrighted works have been examined and classified according to methods of literary theories. As a result of the examinations, certain data were obtained that can contribute to future studies regarding the understanding of theater by Mahmut Yesari, the themes in his works and, their relationship with daily life

No full textThere are lots of studies in the history of literature about an author's life integrated with his or her works and arts. In this work, we studied the genre named village literature in Turkish literature with the author Mahmut Makal's, who has a vital role as a pioneer to create the style that explains villages by whom came from villages, life, art, and works. We thought that the works on Mahmut Makal that were conducted until today are not integrated, and they were analyzed without academic disciplines. With the work we did, we tried to compensate for these deficiencies in our literature, and give value to him that he deserves. Moreover, in this work, we attempted to evaluate all the works of him and the works that were done about him. To do so, after the intensive library working and reading works of him at least two times, we tried to conduct works with an academic perspective. Furthermore, we aimed to clarify his literary personality, works, and arts in our history of literature as much as we can.Edebiyat tarihi araştırmalarında bir yazarın hayatının, sanatının ve eserlerinin bütüncül olarak incelendiği çalışmalar çoktur. Biz bu çalışmamızda Türk edebiyatında köy edebiyatı olarak adlandırılmış, köyden gelenlerin köyü anlattığı dönemin başlatıcısı olan önemli bir Eğitimci Yazar olan Mahmut Makal’ın hayatını, sanatını ve eserlerini inceledik. Bugüne kadar Mahmut Makal hakkında yapılan çalışmaların bütüncül olmadığını, akademik bir disiplin içerisinde incelenmediğini gördük. Yaptığımız çalışma ile edebiyat tarihimizdeki bu açığı kapatmak, Mahmut Makal’ı edebiyat tarihimizde hak ettiği yere getirmek istedik. Çalışmamızda Makal’ın; bütün eserlerini, eserleri ve kendisi hakkında yapılmış çalışmaların tamamını değerlendirmeye çalıştık. Bunun için tüm eserlerini en az iki kez okuyarak ve yoğun bir kütüphane çalışması gerçekleştirerek akademik bir disiplin içerisinde ortaya ürünler koymaya çalıştık. Bu çalışmada elimizden geldiğince Mahmut Makal’ın edebi kişiliği, sanatı ve eserleriyle edebiyat tarihimizdeki yerini anlatmaya çalıştık

No full text“Mahmut Yesari’nin Gazete ve Dergilerde Kalan Yazıları” başlıklı Mahmut Yesari’nin dönemin gazete ve dergilerinde yayımladığı eleştiri, deneme ve köşe yazılarının incelenmesinden meydana gelmektedir. Çalışmanın ilk bölümünde yazarın hayatı, yazarlığı ve eserleri hakkında bilgi verilmiştir. İkinci bölümde ise tespit edilen yüz yirmi metin “Basın ve Edebiyat”, “İnsanlar”, “Sosyal ve Siyasal Hayat” olmak üzere üç ana başlık altında değerlendirilmiş ve bu metinlerin incelemesi yapılmıştır. Kaynakça bölümünde yararlanılan kaynakların ve incelenen metinlerin künyeleri yer almaktadır. Tespit edilen metinler günümüz imla kurallarına göre düzenlenmiş ve kronolojik sırayla çalışmanın sonuna eklenmiştir. Çalışmanın sonunda bu metinlerin yayım yerine ve tarihine göre hazırlanmış iki listesine de ulaşılabilir.The master's thesis titled Mahmut Yesari's Articles Remaining in Newspapers and Magazines consists of the examination of the criticisms, essays and columns published by Mahmut Yesari in the newspapers and magazines of the period. In the first part of the study, information about the life, authorship and works of the author was given. In the second part, one hundred and twenty texts were evaluated under three main headings as Press and Literature, People, Social and Political Life and these texts were examined. In the bibliography section, the tags of the sources used and the texts examined are included. The determined texts were arranged according to today's spelling rules and added to the end of the study in chronological order. At the end of the study, two lists of these texts prepared according to the publication place and date can be reached
Comparison of depression between primary and secondary infertile couples
No full textObjective We aimed to compare the depression levels between primary and secondary infertile couples and to investigate the related factors that may affect depression. Study design Two hundred and fifty primary and secondary infertile couples, who admitted to Gynecology and Infertility Clinics of Pendik Teaching and Research Hospital affiliated with Marmara University were enrolled in this study. Sixty-four BMI-matched fertile female patients who applied to the General Gynecology Clinic and their husbands were taken as the control group. Beck Depression Inventory (BDI) form was filled by the infertile couples to evaluate the depression status before they started their cycles. Results The mean total BDI scores were alike between groups among women. Mild depression was found to be higher in the primary infertile women and moderate depression was higher in women of the control group. Women had statistically higher depression scores than male partners. Primary infertile, secondary infertile, and fertile women had higher depression scores than their male partners in the corresponding groups. There was no significant difference in mean total BDI scores among males between the groups. The percentage of distribution of male partners in each level of depression was similar between the groups. Conclusions Only a weak positive correlation between the mean total BDI score and the number of previous treatment cycles was found. Psychiatric support before and during the upcoming fertility treatment might reduce the perception of the probable treatment failure
Comparison of anxiety scores between unexplained primary and secondary infertile couples
No full textObjective To investigate the anxiety levels among infertile women and their partners also factors that may affect the anxiety status Study design A total of 403 infertile couples who applied to Infertility Outpatient Clinics of a University-affiliated Teaching and Research Hospital were included in the study. The infertile group was divided into two groups as primary and secondary infertile. One hundred and thirty-two fertile couples who applied to Gynecology Outpatient Clinics composed the control group. Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale (HAM-A) form was filled by the infertile couples to evaluate the anxiety status before they started their treatment. Results Three hundred and twenty infertile and 84 fertile couples completed the study. The mean total scores of HAM-A of women were similar between the groups. So were the scores of their husbands. In all groups, women had significantly higher mean total HAM-A scores than their husbands. There was no association between the mean HAM-A score of women and age, BMI, AFC, duration of marriage, duration of infertility, number of previous treatment cycles. Education status, working status and family structure of women did not correlate with the mean HAM-A score. Conclusion Unexplained primary and secondary infertile couples had similar anxiety scores before the commencement of fertility treatments. However, the scores were higher in women than their male partners. Since the burden of treatment and the likelihood of treatment failure might increase the level of anxiety the women could be offered proper cognitive coping and relaxation interventions
Effects of infertility treatment on anxiety and depression levels
No full textPurpose: In this study we aimed to show the most related factors with women's anxiety and depression levels as well find out the differences between primary and secondary infertile women with unexplained reason. Materials and Methods: This was a prospective controlled study of 166 primary and 60 secondary infertile women. They had unexplained infertility and had not any hormonal or uterine pathology. Beck Depression Inventory and Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale were used for questionnaire. Results: While there were not any differences between two groups for anxiety and depression scores as well for subgroups, secondary infertile women showed a higher rate of severe depression than primary infertile women (11/60 vs. 10/166). While patients' age was correlated with anxiety score, number of treatment attempts was correlated with depression score. Conclusion: Infertility treatment does not have only physical side effects but it has also psychological burden for women. While having a child is very important for some cultures it may not decrease the stress of women whom started infertility treatment and wanted to have more. It is important to support the women whom undergo infertility treatment whether is primary or secondary infertile, while this affect the patient's mood positively as well may increase the success of treatment

Efendiyev’in Mahmut ile Meryem romanı yeniden-yazma yöntemine göre incelenecektir.
1984 yılında kitap halinde yayımlanan Mahmut ile Meryem romanında yazar, Aslı ve
Kerem hikâyesini alt metin olarak almış ve yeniden-yazma yöntemiyle modern bir metin
üretmiştir. Efendiyev, eserini yeniden yazarken hikâyenin olay örgüsüne bağlı kalmış;
ancak mesaj, olay, kişi, zaman, mekân, tür vb. unsurlara önemli ölçüde müdahalede bulunmuştur.
Aslı ve Kerem hikâyesi karşısında romanına bireysel ve toplumsal olmak üzere
başka temalar yerleştirmiştir. Kişi kadrosunun genişletildiği gözlenen romanda, hikâyedeki
yalın kat kişilere karşı psikolojik boyutları olan kişiler yerleştirmiştir. En önemli
değişiklik ise romanın temel iletisinde sezilir. Aslı ve Kerem hikâyesi aşk iletisi üzerine
kurulmuşken romanın iletisi insan sevgisidir.This study will examine the novel called Mahmut with Meryem by Elcin Efendiyev,
one of the most important names in contemporary Azerbaijani literature, according to the
“re-writing” method. In Mahmut with Meryem, which was published in 1984 as a novel,
the author took the story of Aslı and Kerem as a sub-text and produced a modern text by
using the re-writing method. Although whilst re-writing her book Efendiyev remained
close to the plot; she interfered significantly with the elements such as message, event,
people, time, place, genre, etc.. Some individual and social themes have been added on
top of the story of Aslı and Kerem. As well as expanding the cadre people with psychological
depth have been placed instead of certain the plain characters in the novel. The
most significant change is felt in the basic delivery of the novel. While the story of Aslı
and Kerem is based on romantic love, the message of the novel is human love
