No full textSidewalks are one of the vital facilities for the development of a city. Sidewalks paths connecting routes from one point to another that can only be accessed specifically by pedestrians. Good and comfortable pedestrians must be able to accommodate the various needs of pedestrians so they can use pedestrians smoothly, safely and comfortably, in order to reduce people's need or dependence on motorized vehicles. One of the pedestrians used as a case study is the pedestrian on Jalan Udayana Blahbatuh, Gianyar. Some of the problems noted at the location include the lack of representation of the sidewalks to accommodate pedestrian activities, such as school-age children. So it is necessary to redesign this pedestrian to provide comfort to its users. The research methods used include surveys to the site, in addition to looking for standard sidewalk data. From the redesign, a friendlier pedestrian design is obtained and it is hoped that it will be able to accommodate the activities of all city residents.Pedestrian merupakan salah satu fasilitas vital bagi perkembangan kota. Jalur pedestrian menjadi jalur sirkulasi atau penghubung dari satu titik ke titik lainnya yang hanya bisa diakses oleh pejalan kaki. Pedestrian yang baik dan nyaman harus bisa mengakomodasi berbagai kebutuhan pejalan kaki agar bisa menggunakannya dengan lancar, aman, dan nyaman, sehingga bisa mengurangi ketergantungan akan kendaraan bermotor. Salah satu pedestrian yang dijadikan studi kasus adalah pedestrian di Jalan Udayana Blahbatuh Kabupaten Gianyar. Beberapa permasalahan yang tercatat pada lokasi antara lain kurang representatifnya trotoar untuk mewadahi kegiatan pejalan kaki, seperti anak-anak usia sekolah. Maka perlu perancangan ulang terhadap pedestrian ini untuk memberi kenyamanan kepada penggunanya. Metode penelitian yang dimanfaatkan antara lain survey/ dokumentasi ke lokasi, selain mencari data standar trotoar. Dari hasil perancangan ulang, diperoleh perancangan pedestrian yang lebih ramah dan diharapkan akan mampu mewadahi kegiatan warga

No full textWith its natural and cultural treasures, Bali has become the perfect holiday destination, helping Denpasar to evolve into a business city with a growing demand for commercial offices and shopping malls. The scarcity of land requires that new approaches be practised. This research aims to develop a mixed building containing rental offices and a mall at Jl. Prof. Dr. Ida Bagus Mantra, Kesiman Kertalangu. Accommodation to the commercial aspect is prioritized, with the areas focused on high-value commerce and communicative spaces, and the architectural style that has been implemented is dubbed the “Balinese Modern-Contemporary”, which incorporates elements of traditional and modern architecture. The project involves the construction of a food court, multifunctional hall, plaza and basement parking at a total of 18,000 m². From this, the concept combines maximum admission of essential principles, spatial requirements, and activity to achieve an efficient and effective spatial appearance for development. Proyek ini termasuk food court, serbaguna, plaza, dan parkir bawah tanah dengan total luas 18.000 m².
