    The Relationships between the Shih-huo-chih in the Sung-chao kuo-shih and the Shih-huo-chih in the Sung-shi

    During the Sung dynasty many versions of the national history were compiled. All these national histories included a chapter called Shih-huo-chih 食貨志. These versions of the Shih-huo-chih are not extant now in their original form, but fragments of them have been included in such books as the Sung-shih Shih-huo-chih 宋史食貨志, the Hsü Tzŭ-chih-t’ung-chien ch’ang-pien 續資治通鑑長編, the Wên-hsien t’ung-k’ao 文獻通考, the Yü-hai 玉海, the Huang-chao pien-nien kang-mu pei-yao 皇朝編年綱目備耍, and the Shang-t’ang ch’ün-shu k’ao-so 山堂群書考索. The original form of the Shih-huo-chih, therefore, can be traced to some extent. Among the above works, the preface to the Shih-huo-chih in the Sung-shih states that, though the chapter was based on the Shih-huo-chih in the Sung-chao kuo-shih 宋朝國史, the quotation was limited only to the facts worth quoting because otherwise the chapter would become too voluminous. Comparing, however, the chapter of the Sung-chao kuo-shih with the similar chapters of the above works, the Sung-shih Shih-huo-chih seems to have borrowed in its entirety this chapter in the Sung-chao kuo-shih. In other words, although the Sung-shih Shih-huo-chih is mostly based on the Shih-huo-chih in the Sung-chao kuo-shih, such chapters as the fang-t’ien 方田 were newly added, and the description of the Sung-chao kuo-shih is sometimes corrected or illustrated by new facts. Moreover, for the period after Li-tsung 理宗 at the end of the Southern Sung (1225~1279), the Sung-shih Shih-huo-chih has a unique description because the corresponding part of the Sung-chao kuo-shih is lacking.The author then compares the text of the Sung-shih Shih-huo-chih with that of the above books for the purpose of restoring the original form of the Shih-huo-chih in the Sung-chao kuo-shih. The Hsü Tzŭ-chih t’ung-chien ch’ang-pien not only quotes the Sung-chao kuo-shih most extensively but also exhaustively corrects its errors of the latter. The Wên-hsien t’ung-k’ao also greatly depends upon the Sung-chao kuo-shih without indicating the source, while the Yü-hai, indicating the source, borrows some passages. The Shan-t’ang ch’ün-shu k’ao-so quotes the sections covering the reigns of Chê-tsung 哲宗 and Hui-tsung 徽宗in the Sung-chao kuo-shih which are not clearly recorded in the other books. The Huang-chao pien-nien kang-mu pei-yao quotes, mostly in its notes, the description from the Sung-chao kuo-shih without indicating the source.Thus the Shih-huo-chih in the Sung-chao kuo-shih remains in the form of various versions quoted in other works and from these the author endeavors to restore part of the text of the Shih-huo-chih in the Sung-chao kuo-shih.journal articl

    Con el desarrollo de la civilización humana, cada vez hay más personas que se preocupan por el problema social relacionado con la violencia de género y doméstica, y se esfuerzan sin descanso por luchar contra dicha violencia con el fin de eliminarla de raíz. Los gobiernos también han introducido disposiciones legales para proteger a las víctimas de la violencia prevista. En particular, el Gobierno español ha elaborado un código integral sobre dicho tema para que los interesados en la legislación de este ámbito jurídico puedan consultarlo y utilizarlo. El objetivo principal del presente estudio es llevar a cabo una traducción comentada del Código de violencia de género y doméstica (parcial) de España. En dicho estudio, la autora estudia las teorías de traducción y analiza el texto origen y el texto meta, así como prepara los recursos de apoyo. Luego estudia y categoriza las dificultades encontradas en el proceso de traducción y propone soluciones que puedan mejorar la calidad y eficiencia de traducción. El texto para la traducción comentada es asignado por la facultad y cuenta con 40 páginas. Contiene el Convenio del Consejo de Europa sobre la violencia de género y doméstica, así como las disposiciones legales de la Constitución española y de la Ley Orgánica en relación con este tema.     Comparative studies on OLED performances of chloro and fluor substituted Zn(II) 8-hydroxyquinolinates

    Two novel 8-hydroxyquinoline metallic derivatives, (E)-2-[(2,3,4,5-tetrafluorophenyl)ethenyl]-8-hydroxyquinolate zinc (5) and (E)-2-[2-(2,6-dichlorophenyl]ethenyl]-8-hydroxyquinolate zinc (6) were synthesized and characterized by H-1 NMR, ESI-MS, FT-IR and elemental analysis. Photoluminescence spectra revealed that the complexes showed strong fluorescence with maximum emissions at 575 and 607 nm. Compared with that of complex 5, the fluorescence quantum yield and average fluorescence lifetime of complex 6 were efficiently reduced. The heavy atom effect of Cl and distinct molecular interactions were found to play an important role in modulating or improving the properties of the complexes. Multilayer organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs) were fabricated using these complexes. The results show they are good candidates for yellow OLEDs with maximum luminance of 7123 cd m(-2) for compound 5 and 9143 cd m(-2) for compound 6, as well as luminance efficiencies of 2.26 cd A(-1) and 2.60 cd A(-1), respectively. As the substituents are changed from fluorine to chlorine, the organic electroluminescent device based on the complex 6 shows overall better performance than that of complex 5. The calculated HOMO-LUMO energy gaps for complexes 5 and 6 were in good agreement with the experimental results

    Early reperfusion strategy for acute myocardial infarction: a need for clinical implementation

    Reperfusion is the key strategy in acute ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) care, and it is time-dependent. Shortening the time from symptom to reperfusion and choosing the optimal reperfusion strategy for STEMI patients are great challenges in practice. We need to improve upon the problems of low reperfusion rate, non-standardized treatment, and economic burden in STEMI care.     A positivity‐preserving and energy stable scheme for a quantum diffusion equation

    We propose a new fully-discretized finite difference scheme for a quantum diffusion equation, in both one and two dimensions. This is the first fully-discretized scheme with proven positivity-preserving and energy stable properties using only standard finite difference discretization. The difficulty in proving the positivity-preserving property lies in the lack of a maximum principle for fourth order partial differential equations. To overcome this difficulty, we reformulate the scheme as an optimization problem based on a variational structure and use the singular nature of the energy functional near the boundary values to exclude the possibility of non-positive solutions. The scheme is also shown to be mass conservative and consistent.The first author is funded by King Abdullah University of Science and Technology.
