The translated tales are a part of the collection of tales Στον ίσκιο του πλατάνου: δεκαπέντε διηγήματα, specifically Τα σκουλαρίκια a Το παιδί και τα δύο πουλάκια. The collection of tales was published by Greek Publisher Εστία in edition J. Gamber and was written by Yannis Psycharis. The commentary consists of an analysis of the source text and the typology of translation problems
