Sphaeropteris guangxiensis Y.F. Gu & Y.H. Yan (Figure 1) Type:— China. Guangxi Province: Fangchenggang City, Dongxing County, Taohuaxi Village, 21°38′7″N, 107°41′22″E, 256 m, 01 May 2018. Morigengaowa & Jun-Jie Luo CFH09001402 (holotype, CSH! (CSH0155370); isotypes, PE!; paratypes, Morigengaowa & Jun-Jie Luo CFH09001403, Morigengaowa & Jun-Jie Luo CFH09001404, CFH09001405, and CFH09001406, CSH!) Diagnosis:— Sphaeropteris guangxiensis is most similar to S. brunonina and S. hainanensis in terms of morphological characters of leaf, but the difference is that fiddleheads (young leaves spirally coiled in bud) of S. guangxiensis are densely scaly on the adaxial surface and few on the abaxial surface, fiddleheads of S. brunonina are fully scaly on both sides, and fiddleheads of S. hainanensis are not scaly (Figure 3 A ~C). Description:— Trunk erect, approximately 10 m tall, up to 20 cm in diameter. Stipes warty at base, upper part and rachis smooth, yellowish to purplish. Lamina 2-pinnate-pinnatifid, up to 3 × 1.6 m, pinnae 20–30 pairs, ascending, lanceolate; largest pinnae up to 90 × 25 cm. Pinnules narrowly lanceolate, 9–14 × 1.8–2.5 cm, slightly narrowed at base, apex caudate, pinnatifid to pinnatisect; pinnule segments 13–22 pairs, falcate, wider at base, entirely or minutely crenate; veins 2- or 3-forked; abaxial side of pinnules glabrous, adaxial side glabrous or with sparse hairs; lamina glaucous abaxially; adaxial side of pinna rachis smooth or with pale antrorse hairs. Fiddleheads with thick scales at middle and brown hairs outside. Sori close to midveins of fertile pinnule segments, 5–8 pairs per segment, covering 3/4–5/6 segment; paraphyses pale to brown, filamentous, longer than or equal in length to sporangia; indusia absent. Spore granulate, thick, ca. 35- 45 μm in diam., polar view triangle, straight edge, equatorial view sector. Distribution:— Sphaeropteris guangxiensis grows at the edges of forests. Present the new species is known only from the type locality. Ecology:— The species was found associated with some woody plants (Figure 2: A, B), such as Mallotus japonicus (Sprengel 1826: 878) Müller Argoviensis (1865: 189), Mangifera indica Linnaeus (1753: 200), and Bambusa chungii McClure (1936: 639). It was also found to be associated with species of Arecaceae Bercht. & J. Presl, ferns such as Asplenium nidus Linnaeus (1753: 1079), Lemmaphyllum rostratum (Beddome 1866: 159) Tagawa (1966: 193), and Microsorum punctatum (Linnaeus 1763: 1524) Copeland (1929: 111) were found to be associated with their trunk. Approximately 50 adult plants and a few young ones were found in the population. IUCN Red List category:— Sphaeropteris guangxiensis has a restricted geographic distribution, and yet not found in other regions out of the type locality. Local people occasionally utilize this species as firewood. Our field investigations showed that there were no abnormalities in the spores of the new species which indicated that the new species can replenish themselves. Moreover, we observed hundreds individuals of this species in a large population at the border of Guangxi Province, China and Vietnam. Jin Gu Qi Guan edition significance research
碩士「三言」與「二拍」為白話短篇小說史中兩大重要的代表作品,出版之後掀起了白話短篇小說編輯的熱潮,而在白話短篇小說編輯盛行的背景下,卻出現了以選輯既有白話短篇小說方式成書之作品《今古奇觀》,並且受到人們的歡迎,甚至於掩蓋住「三言」和「二拍」的光芒,成為有清一代最為人所知的白話短篇小說精選集,一直到「三言」和「二拍」重新被發現後,人們藉此得知《今古奇觀》與「三言」和「二拍」間的關係,自此之後,人們將《今古奇觀》視為是「三言」和「二拍」精選集,除此之外並無其他意義。
然回顧《今古奇觀》流傳的過程,可知在「三言」、「二拍」以及其他白話短篇小說集尚未被發現之前,《今古奇觀》不但是最受人們歡迎的作品,並且曾經一度被視為是研究白話短篇小說之重要文獻,兼負起保存白話短篇小說面貌之作品,並非如同人們認為《今古奇觀》只不過是「三言」和「二拍」的精選集。
為了重新審視《今古奇觀》並凸顯出其的價值,筆者藉由回顧前人研究之成果,發現大多數論述一直圍繞的《今古奇觀》與「三言」、「二拍」之間的關係,卻甚少關注《今古奇觀》選輯的內容及其所呈現的意義,更藉此了解到研究《今古奇觀》不能從創作的角度切入,因為《今古奇觀》的內容為選輯他人作品而成,算是選輯他人的作品後再度加工後的成品,而應以編輯作為探討《今古奇觀》路徑,一方面展現《今古奇觀》編輯之特色,另外一方面則以此凸顯出《今古奇觀》在同時期之作品中之價值。"San Yan" and "Er Pai"are the representatives ofimportnat works in the history of short stories of the vernacular.When they had published which raised an upsurge in vernacular short story edition, but under the background of the vernacular short story edition was in vogue, "Jin Gu Qi Guan "selected vernacular short stoty from other works and receives people''s welcome, and even covered "San Yan" and "Er Pai" light,and becomed the best know short stories of the vernacular in the Qing dynasty. Until "San Yan" and "Er Pai" discovered again, people knew the relation of "Jin Gu Qi Guan "and "San Yan" ,"Er Pai". Since then "Jin Gu Qi Guan "is regards as"San Yan" and "Er Pai"’s omnibus whitout other significance.
However, recalling " Jin Gu Qi Guan " spread the process , which shows" San Yan "," Er Pai " and other vernacular short story collection has not been found before, " Jin Gu Qi Guan " is not only welcome by most people , and once be seen as an important study of vernacular literature of short stories, also take up the appearance of preserving vernacular works, not as people think " Jin Gu Qi Guan " only "San Yan " and "Er Pai" ‘s omnibus
In order to re-examine " Jin Gu Qi Guan " and highlight its value, I review achievement of the predecessor research,found that the majority has been discussed on the relation of " Jin Gu Qi Guan " between " San Yan " ," Er Pai , but little concern " Jin Gu Qi Guan " selected presented by the content and what does it mean, and understand that " Jin Gu Qi Guan " can not be reached by creation viewpoint,because " Jin Gu Qi Guan " selected for the content of others Works from, as the selected works of others and after the re-processed products, but should be discussed as to edit " Jin Gu Qi Guan " path, on the one hand show " Jin Gu Qi Guan " editor''s characteristics, the other hand, to highlight " Jin Gu Qi Guan "in the same period in the value of the works.第一章 緒論 1

Gu Xiong : The River
Gu Xiong’s installation “The River” is described by O’Brian as a meditation on migrancy and displacement. The author situates the work within the life of the artist, who left China because of political oppression, and the history of the Canadian West, which has marginalized its Chinese inhabitants.
