Perubahan drastis ketika orang-orang imigran Yahudi berpindah ke tanah Palestina dan kemudian membentuk gerakan Zionis Israel serta mendirikan negara Israel di tanah yang dihuni oleh masyarakat Palestina. Akibatnya muncul perlawanan dan perjuangan rakyat Palestina. Salah seorang tokoh kenamaan Palestina Yasser Arafat mempunyai tekad kuat memperjuangkan rakyat Palestina dari penindasan dan penjajahan yang dilakukan oleh Zionis Israel di Palestina. Yasser Arafar dalam menghentikan kolonialisasi tersebut menggunakan wadah pergerakan organisasi PLO dan Fatah yang saling bersinergi dalam menuntaskan polemik hebat Palestina dan Israel di tanah Arab.
