    Pholcus gonggarensis Yao & Li sp. nov. Figs 13–14, 27 C–D Type material. Holotype: male, Gonggar Town (29°04.824′N, 93°09.097′E, elevation 3184 m), Nang County, Nyingchi, Tibet, China, 11 August 2014, Y. Li leg. Paratype: 1 female, same data as holotype. Etymology. The specific name refers to the type locality; adjective. Diagnosis. This species resembles P. lijiangensis Yao & Li, 2012 (see Yao & Li 2012: 23, figs 102–105) with similar male chelicerae (Fig. 14 D), appendix (Fig. 14 C) and vulva (Fig. 14 B) but can be distinguished by the long apophysis on male pedipalpal trochanter (Figs 13 A–B), by the presence of a wide, membranous prolateral process distally and the absence of thick prolateral spines subdistally on the procursus (Fig. 13 C), by the distally strongly protruding uncus (arrow in Fig. 14 C) and by the epigynum blunt on the lateral margins (arrow in Fig. 14 A). Description. Male (holotype): Total length 4.84 (5.20 with clypeus), carapace 1.44 long, 1.64 wide, opisthosoma 3.40 long, 1.56 wide. Leg I: 45.37 (11.28 + 0.79 + 11.41 + 19.64 + 2.25), leg II, leg III and leg IV missing; tibia I L/d: 71. Distance PME-PME 0.28; diameter PME 0.11; distance PME-ALE 0.05; distance AME- AME 0.08; diameter AME 0.08. Sternum wider than long (1.06/0.81). Habitus as in Figs 14 E–F. Carapace yellowish, with radiating brown marks extending to ocular area; ocular area yellowish; sternum brown, with yellowish marks medially. Leg yellow, distal parts of femur and tibiae whitish, femora (subproximally and subdistally) and tibiae (subproximally and subdistally) with darker rings. Opisthosoma yellowish, with small spots dorsally and laterally. Ocular area elevated, without eye stalks (Fig. 27 C). Thoracic furrow absent. Chelicerae as in Fig. 14 D, with a pair of proximo-lateral apophyses, a pair of distal apophyses, and a pair of frontal apophyses. Pedipalps as in Figs 13 A–B; trochanter with a ventral apophysis; femur with a distinct ventral ridge; tibia with a projection prolaterally; procursus simple proximally but complex distally, with a wide, membranous prolateral process distally; uncus with a scaly edge and distally strongly protruding (arrow in Fig. 14 C); appendix hooked, with a branch medially; embolus weakly sclerotized, with some transparent projections distally. Retrolateral trichobothrium of tibia I at 7%; legs with short vertical setae on tibiae, metatarsi and tarsi; without spines and curved setae; tarsus I with 26 distinct pseudosegments. Female: Similar to male, habitus as in Figs 14 G–H. Total length 4.35 (4.74 with clypeus), carapace 1.41 long, 1.42 wide, opisthosoma 2.94 long, 1.56 wide; tibia I: 9.49; tibia I L/d: 64. Distance PME-PME 0.23; diameter PME 0.11; distance PME-ALE 0.03; distance AME-AME 0.06; diameter AME 0.07. Sternum wider than long (1.01/ 0.81). Epigynum (Fig. 14 A) with a knob.     Pholcus tangyuensis Yao & Li sp. nov. Figs 21–22 Type material. Holotype: male, Tangyu National Forest Park (33°55.955′N, 109°15.300′E, elevation 1137 m), Tangyu Town, Lantian County, Xian, Shaanxi, China, 2 October 2013, Y. Li and J. Liu leg. Paratypes: 1 male and 1 female, same data as holotype. Etymology. The specific name refers to the type locality; adjective. Diagnosis. This species resembles P. alpinus Yao & Li, 2012 (see Yao & Li 2012: 8, figs 15–18) in with male chelicerae (Fig. 22 D), procursus (Figs. 21 C–D), uncus (Fig. 22 C) and vulva (Fig. 22 B) but can be distinguished by the absence of apophyses subdistally on the male pedipalpal trochanteral apophyses (Fig. 21 B), by the distally swollen appendix (Fig. 22 C) and by the nearly triangular epigynum (Fig. 22 A). Description. Male (holotype): Total length 4.66 (4.91 with clypeus), carapace 1.52 long, 1.58 wide, opisthosoma 3.14 long, 1.54 wide. Leg I: 34.23 (8.31 + 0.67 + 8.43 + 14.44 + 2.38), leg II: 21.82 (6.28 + 0.62 + 5.59 + 8.06 + 1.27), leg III: 16.12 (4.76 + 0.61 + 3.88 + 5.88 + 0.99), leg IV: 19.30 (6.43 + 0.58 + 5.31 + 5.75 + 1.23); tibia I L/d: 53. Carapace yellowish, with brown radiating marks and brown bands marginally; ocular area yellowish; sternum brown with yellowish marks medially. Legs yellowish, femora (subproximally and subdistally) and tibiae (subproximally and subdistally) with darker rings. Opisthosoma yellowish, with small spots dorsally and laterally. Ocular area elevated, without eye-stalks (as in P. gonggarensis sp. nov., cf. Fig. 27 C). Thoracic furrow absent. Chelicerae as in Fig. 22 D, with a pair of proximo-lateral apophyses; a pair of dark brown distal apophyses and a pair of indistinct frontal apophyses. Pedipalps as in Figs 21 A–B; trochanter with a ventral apophysis provided with a retrolateral projection; femur with a distinct ventral ridge; tibia with a projection prolaterally; procursus simple, with a retrolateral spine-like apophysis (arrow in Fig. 21 D) and some nearly transparent process distally; uncus with a scaly edge; appendix hooked, swollen distally, with a branch subdistally; embolus weakly sclerotized, with some transparent projections distally. Retrolateral trichobothrium of tibia I at 1%; legs with short vertical setae on tibiae, metatarsi and tarsi; without spines and curved setae; tarsus I with 34 distinct pseudosegments. Female: Similar to male, habitus as in Figs 22 G–H. Total length 4.35 (4.57 with clypeus), carapace 1.29 long, 1.56 wide, opisthosoma 3.06 long, 1.55 wide; tibia I: 6.83; tibia I L/d: 38.     Pholcus zhongdongensis Yao & Li sp. nov. Figs 25–26, 27 E–F Type material. Holotype: male, Cave without a name beside Tufeng Cave (24°10.187′N, 111°12.423′E, elevation 154 m), Zhongdong Village, Huangyao Town, Zhaoping County, Hezhou, Guangxi, China, 21 July 2013, H. Zhao leg. Paratypes: 3 females, same data as holotype. Etymology. The specific name refers to the type locality; adjective. Diagnosis. This species resembles P. tuyan Yao & Li, 2012 (see Yao & Li 2012: 36, figs 183–186) with similar male chelicerae (Fig. 26 D), procursus (Figs 25 C–D) and uncus (Fig. 26 C) but can be distinguished by the presence of an angular branch subproximally on the very long and curved appendix (Fig. 26 C), by the wide knob (Fig. 26 A) and by the nearly rounded vulval pore plates (Fig. 26 B). Description. Male (holotype): Total length 4.31 (4.73 with clypeus), carapace 1.28 long, 1.48 wide, opisthosoma 3.03 long, 1.41 wide. Leg I: 44.83 (10.43 + 0.74 + 11.20 + 20.18 + 2.28), leg II, leg III missing, leg IV: 26.47 (7.36 + 0.61 + 6.59 + 10.51 + 1.40); tibia I L/d: 78. Distance PME-PME 0.67; diameter PME 0.12; distance PME-ALE 0.03; distance AME-AME 0.08; diameter AME 0.02. Sternum wider than long (0.97/0.79). Habitus as in Figs 26 E–F. Carapace yellowish, with brownish marks; ocular area brownish; sternum yellow. Legs yellowish, distal parts of tibiae whitish, darker rings absent. Opisthosoma yellowish. Ocular area elevated; each eye triad on top of a long, laterally directed eye-stalk (Fig. 27 E); PME with a long apophysis (Fig. 27 E). Thoracic furrow absent. Chelicerae as in Fig. 26 D, with a pair of proximo-lateral apophyses, a pair of black distal apophyses, and a pair of frontal apophyses. Pedipalps as in Figs 25 A–B; trochanter with a ventral apophysis; femur with a distinct ventral ridge; procursus simple proximally but complex distally; uncus with a scaly edge; appendix long and curved, with an angular branch subproximally; embolus weakly sclerotized, with transparent projections distally. Retrolateral trichobothrium of tibia I at 4%; legs with short vertical setae on tibiae, metatarsi and tarsi; without spines and curved setae; tarsus I with 35 distinct pseudosegments. Paratypes: 2 females, same data as holotype. Etymology. The specific name refers to the type locality; adjective. Diagnosis. This species resembles P. chang Yao & Li, 2012 (see Yao & Li 2012: 12, figs 43–46) with similar male chelicerae (Fig. 4 D), uncus (Fig. 4 C) and epigynum (Fig. 4 A) but can be distinguished by the presence of a distinct ventral protuberance proximally on the male pedipalpal femur (Figs 3 A–B), by the short procursus (Figs 3 A–B), by the presence of a large pointed apophysis distally on the appendix (arrow in Fig. 4 C) and by the nearly semicircular vulval pore plates (Fig. 4 B). This species also resembles P. manueli Gertsch, 1937 (see Zhang & Zhu 2009: 52, fig. 26 and Huber 2011b: 361, figs 1655–1656, 1671–1672, 1729–1741) with similar male chelicerae (Fig. 4 D), appendix, embolus (Fig. 4 C) and epigynum (Fig. 4 A) but can be distinguished by the presence of a distinct ventral protuberance proximally on the male pedipalpal femur (Figs 3 A–B), by the absence of pointed prolateral apophyses subdistally on the procursus (Fig. 3 C), by the large uncus (Fig. 4 C), and by the nearly semicircular vulval pore plates (Fig. 4 B). Description. Male (holotype): Total length 4.21 (4.51 with clypeus), carapace 1.33 long, 1.40 wide, opisthosoma 2.81 long, 1.28 wide. Leg I: 29.95 (7.76 + 0.68 + 7.95 + 11.28 + 2.28), leg II: 21.49 (6.15 + 0.63 + 5.77 +7.69 + 1.25), leg III: 20.96 (6.15 + 0.60 + 5.64 + 7.44 + 1.13), leg IV: 15.77 (4.64 + 0.60 + 4.00 + 5.77 + 0.94); tibia I L/d: 54. Distance PME-PME 0.20; diameter PME 0.11; distance PME-ALE 0.04; distance AME- AME 0.03; diameter AME 0.08. Sternum wider than long (0.95/0.81). Habitus as in Figs 4 E–F. Paratypes: 1 male and 2 females, same data as holotype. Etymology. The specific name refers to the type locality; adjective. Diagnosis. This species resembles P. taibaiensis Wang & Zhu, 1992 (see Huber 2011b: 451, figs 2097–2099, 2124–2125, 2178–2183, 2185, 2189 and Yao & Li 2012: 34, figs 169–170) with similar male chelicerae (Fig. 20 D), embolus (Fig. 20 C) and epigynum (Fig. 20 A) but can be distinguished by the presence of a membranous, fringed prolateral process and a sclerotized, hooked prolateral apophysis subdistally on the procursus (arrows in Fig. 19 C), by the blunt branch on the appendix medially (Fig. 20 C), and by the long elliptic vulval pore plates (Fig. 20 B). Description. Male (holotype): Total length 4.19 (4.82 with clypeus), carapace 1.25 long, 1.41 wide, opisthosoma 2.94 long, 1.19 wide.
