A Han Birodalom születése: Xiang Yu évkönyve A történetíró feljegyzéseiben
The short period (206–202 BC) after the fall of the Qin dynasty was one of China’s most anarchic periods, as if the Warring States events occurred again during a much shorter span of time. Xiang Yu 項羽 (232–202 BC) engaged Liu Bang 劉邦 (247–195 BC), the would-be founding emperor of the Han dynasty, in a long strugglefor power, known as the Chu–Han contention (Chu Han zhanzheng 楚漢戰爭), which concluded with the eventual defeat of the former at the Battle of Gaixia 垓下. Xiang Yu committed suicide on the bank of the Wu 烏 River. This article first gives an overview of Sima Qian’s Shiji 史記, then proceeds to offer a translation of its seventh chapter (Xiang Yu benji 項羽本紀). The translation is accompanied by a running commentary, which clarifies the historical background, and interprets the content in its historical context.Feltöltés alat
The image of Xiang Yu and Liu Bang in “The Favourite Children’s Stories about the History of China”
In this article is compared the image of generals Xiang Yu and Liu Bang in the present-day “The Favourite Children’s Stories about The History of China” with traditional description these characters in Sima Qian‘s “Historical Records”. Singing out the basic concepts of the historiographer, the author of this article examines how and why the images of Xiang Yu and Liu Bang are undergoing significant changes, what the traits of their characters are the most important and instructive in contemporary literature for the younger generation
Sima Qian's Intention of "Observing Prosperity and Decadence over Dynasties" in the Benji of Shiji - Qinji (Annals of Qin), Xiang Yu Ji (Annals of Xiang Yu), and Empress Lu Ji (Annals of Empress Lu) as Examples
Sima Qian first created the history genre based on biography in Shiji, of which 12 chapters of the Benji recorded prosperity and decadence over dynasties. The scholars have different views about the category of Qinji (Annals of Qin), Xiang Yu Ji (Annals of Xiang Yu), and Empress Lu Ji (Annals of Empress Lu) in the Benji. This article discusses the writing style of Qinji, Xiang Yu Ji, and Empress Lu Ji to perceive Sima Qian chronicled the prosperity and decadence of the Eastern Zhou Kingdoms by Qin Dynasty as a kernel; chronicled the development from Qin to Han Dynasty by Xiang Yu's success and failure; chronicled the development from Emperor Gaozu of Han to Emperor Wen of Han by the beginning and the end of Empress Lu's regime. These three chapters expressed Sima Qian's intention of "observing prosperity and decadence over dynasties" and his gigantic view of the history in the Benji.補正完

Object pose dataset using discriminatively trained deformable part models
Over the last couple of years computer vision has grown. While the old problem used to be object detection, we are now faced with the challenge of correctly estimating the pose of the objects. Thus in order to test algorithms for pose estimation it is important to use good datasets for training data. However the object datasets we have today are mainly for object detection. Therefore we do not have many sufficient datasets suitable for testing pose estimation algorithms. In this paper we use deformable part models and latent SVM to propose a dataset that we hope can become a good dataset for testing pose estimation algorithms
