No full textLAUREA MAGISTRALEIl rivestimento polimerico di stent biodegradabili in lega di magnesio risulta essere una promettente soluzione per rallentare la velocità di degradazione del metallo e, quindi, garantire il sostegno meccanico alla parete del vaso nei primi mesi dall’impianto. Quantificare l’adesione tra polimero e substrato metallico, inoltre, è essenziale per garantire la sicurezza e l’efficacia del dispositivo a lungo temine. La prima parte del seguente lavoro di tesi è basata sull’ottimizzazione della procedura di dip coating, che ha permesso di realizzare rivestimenti in PCL omogenei e di spessore controllato (5-10 μm) su lastrine in lega di magnesio AZ31 (3% alluminio, 1% zinco e 0,2% manganese), con diversa morfologia superficiale. Per misurare la forza di adesione tra coating e substrato, sono state eseguite prove di peeling a 90°, le quali hanno mostrato come le proprietà del substrato, quali la rugosità e la bagnabilità, influenzino l’adesione del film polimerico.
In seguito, la tecnica del dip coating è stata adattata a campioni aventi la geometria dello stent. Includendo la rotazione del campione durante la fase di ritiro dalla soluzione, è stato possibile realizzare rivestimenti omogenei e aderenti alla maglia. Una volta rivestite di PCL, le maglie metalliche sono state sottoposte a prove di trazione per verificare l’insorgenza di fenomeni di delaminazione del rivestimento. I risultati hanno mostrato un rivestimento continuo ed adeso al substrato, sia nella parte piana, sia nelle zone di curvatura. Leggere zone di distacco del rivestimento si sono riscontrate nelle zone di curvatura più esterne, caratterizzate da un maggior accumulo di materiale polimerico, dovuto all’azione della forza centrifuga durante la fase di rotazione e da una maggiore concentrazione di sforzi.The polymeric coating on biodegradable magnesium alloy stent seems to be a promising solution to reduce the rate of degradation and, thus, to ensure the mechanical support to the wall vessel first months after implantation. To quantify the adhesion between polymer and metal substrate, is essential to ensure the device safety and effectiveness in the long term. The first part of the work was based on the optimization of the dip coating process, which made possible to achieve PCL homogeneous coatings with controlled thickness (5-10 μm) on magnesium alloy AZ31 (3% aluminum, 1% zinc and 0.2% manganese) plates, with different surface morphology. To measure the adhesion strength between coating and substrate, peeling tests at 90° were carried out. Such tests showed that the adhesion of the polymeric film is influenced by roughness and wettability of the substrate.
Subsequently, the dip coating technique was adapted to coat samples characterized by the geometry of the stent. By including the rotation of the sample during the withdrawal phase from the solution, it was possible to achieve coatings uniform and adherent to the mesh. Once coated, the meshes were subjected to tensile tests to verify the occurrence of coating delamination. Results showed a coating continuous and adherent to the substrate, both in the flat part and in the areas of curvature. Weak zones of coating detachment were found in the outer areas of curvature, characterized by an accumulation of polymeric material, caused by the action of the centrifugal force during the rotation and a higher stress concentration

No full textQuanto la militanza politica nell’opera del collettivo Wu Ming abbia un valore se non passionale, almeno contenutistico, lo può provare qualche esempio recente, anche nelle avventure in solitaria dei suoi componenti. Si pensi alla rilettura dell’opera di Tolkien intrapresa da Wu Ming 4 con i saggi di Difendere la Terra di mezzo. Scritti di J.R.R. Tolkien, volta anche a salvarlo dalla deriva casapoundiana. Tolkien in Wu Ming 4 incarna proprio il simbolo di quella letteratura che, dopo il cannibalismo, richiede un tonico atto alla debita digestione. È quanto accade nei due romanzi dell’autore, Stella del mattino e Il piccolo regno, dedicati alla rivalutazione dell’«eroe imperfetto» che è stato T.E. Lawrence, che presentano all’interno un Tolkien storicamente documentato come personaggio e filologicamente giustificato come fonte. Il contributo intende esplorare la presenza del padre della Terra di Mezzo nell’opera narrativa di Wu Ming 4, in un esempio di atto cannibalico letterario a suo modo ossequioso.The extent to which political militancy in the work of the Wu Ming collective has a value, if not passionate, at least in terms of content, can be proven by a few recent examples, even in the solo adventures of its members. One thinks of the rereading of Tolkien's work undertaken by Wu Ming 4 with the essays in Difendere la Terra di mezzo. Writings of J.R.R. Tolkien, also aimed at rescuing him from the Casapoundian drift. Tolkien in Wu Ming 4 embodies the very symbol of that literature which, after cannibalism, requires a tonic for proper digestion. This is what happens in the author's two novels, Stella del mattino and Il piccolo regno, dedicated to the re-evaluation of the "imperfect hero" that was T.E. Lawrence, which present within them a Tolkien historically documented as a character and philologically justified as a source. The contribution aims to explore the presence of the father of Middle-earth in Wu Ming 4's fictional work, in an example of a literary cannibalistic act in its own obsequious way

Nella trattazione riportiamo i risultati numerici ottenuti in diverse casistiche che comprendono sia il modello di Black e Scholes che il modello CEV (standard e con volatilità dipendente dal tempo).The goal of this work is to describe the numerical method proposed by L. V. Ballestra (2018) for the pricing of American options,

No full textLAUREA MAGISTRALEDopo la crisi economica che colpì l’Europa nel 2008, le Pubbliche Amministrazioni (PA) subirono una violenta riduzione dei fondi a disposizione per perseguire i propri obiettivi istituzionali.
In questo contesto, la Commissione Europea ha identificato l’appalto pre commerciale (Pre-Commercial Procurement - PCP) come lo strumento adatto a soddisfare la domanda di innovazione dei suoi Stati Membri.
Nel contesto italiano, a partire dal 2014, Regione Lombardia ha adottato questo modello all’interno del Programma Operativo Regionale finanziato con il Fondo Europeo di Sviluppo Regionale (POR-FESR 2014-2020), declinato nei suoi sette assi, al fine di incrementare il grado di innovazione sul territorio locale.
Questo innovativo strumento europeo, difatti, consente alle PA di appaltare le fasi di ricerca e sviluppo per una tecnologia che possa rispondere al proprio fabbisogno di innovazione e, contestualmente, garantisce alle imprese aggiudicatarie di aprirsi una fetta di mercato prioritaria nella successiva fase di commercializzazione del prodotto risultante.
In primo luogo, facendo riferimento alla sua regolamentazione nazionale e comunitaria, verranno individuati punti di forza e criticità che caratterizzano il PCP.
In secondo luogo, le caratteristiche peculiari individuate verranno ricercate all’interno di due applicazioni pratiche della procedura di appalto pre-commerciale.
La prima è stata direttamente implementata, e pedissequamente documentata, dall’autrice dell’elaborato presso l’Istituto Nazionale dei Tumori di Milano, dove il primario del dipartimento di chirurgia epato-gastro-pancreatica ha richiesto la realizzazione di un dispositivo di Realtà Aumentata che integri tutte le informazioni relative ad un dato pazienze durante uno specifico intervento chirurgico e ne consenta la visualizzazione. La seconda, invece, è stata implementata presso l’ASST di Pavia e, grazie alle informazioni collezionate durante un’intervista con il principale attore coinvolto, è stata utilizzata come caso di controllo.
Dopo un’attenta analisi dei risultati del confronto, è stato possibile identificare il PCP come lo strumento corretto per produrre outcome altamente innovativi per le PA e, contestualmente, per stimolare la crescita delle imprese locali.
Tuttavia, è emerso come l’assenza di linee guida comunitarie e l’inesperienza delle parti coinvolte rappresentino ancora un’ importante barriera all’implementazione efficiente della procedura. Infine, è stata posta particolare attenzione al tema della totale cessione dei diritti di proprietà intellettuale dalle PA alle imprese aggiudicatarie, in quanto identificato come tema controverso per le strutture pubbliche coinvolte.The economic downturn that struck Europe in 2008 led Public Administrations (PAs) to pursue their institutional objectives in a severe financial hardship.
In this context, the Pre-Commercial Procurement (PCP) has been promoted by European Union in order to facilitate the fulfillment of Member States’ demand for innovation.
Particularly, Italy and Lombardy Region decided to adopt this model within the application of the operative regional program POR-FESR 2014-2020, declined in its seven priority axes, to enhance the innovation grade in the local area.
This innovative European instrument, in fact, allows PAs to tender the research and development (R&D) phases for a technology that can answer to their needs of innovation, and local companies of the sector, that participate in tenders, to secure a priority market share through the future commercialization of the R&D results.
In the first place, a regulatory framework of the PCP functioning is given, in order to detect the strengths and the critical issues that characterize this instrument.
At a later stage, the abovementioned features were researched within two practical application of the PCP procedures.
The first was directly implemented, and slavishly documented, by the author at the Istituto Nazionale dei Tumori di Milano. Here, the chief of the Epato-gastro-pancreatic Oncology Surgery asked for an innovative Augmented Reality device for the integrated collection and visualization of all the relevant information concerning a certain patient during a specific surgical procedure. The second, instead, was carried out by the ASST di Pavia and, thanks to the information collected during an interview with the main actor of the procedure, could be used as a control-case.
As a result, it was possible to identify the PCP as the correct instrument to produce highly innovative outcomes for the PAs and, contextually, to trigger the local companies’ growth.
However, the lack of inherent literature and Community guidelines and the inexperience of the parties involved, still represent a huge barrier to an efficient implementation of the procedure. At the end, particular attention was given to the total transfer of intellectual property rights form PAs to contractors, since it represents a controversial issue for the public structures involved

delle aziende globali considerano facile la penetrazione del mercato cinese solo
perché guardano a questa popolazione come uno stereotipo . Molti Marchi globali di consumo ,
che sono leader nei loro paesi , investire nel mercato cinese , poi falliscono .
In particolare l'azienda 3M è un marchio più , e alcuni di questi marchi sono meno
successo . È , inoltre, non ha ritenuto che il territorio Cina è così vasto e diversificato
internamente a causa delle province in cui è suddiviso . Ogni regione ha simili
cultura e politica , ma non gli stessi , i prezzi e stile di vita diverse , a volte
completamente diversi tra loro e talvolta molto simili , ma mai correttamente la
stesso . Oggi uno degli errori più comuni della cultura occidentale è quello di pensare
che c'è solo uno stereotipo della persona cinese e che sono a tutti la
stesso in Cina , con gli stessi bisogni . Quello che sto per fare? Il metodo di base del
tutta la tesi è quello di raccogliere le teorie a disposizione per fare un esperimento . Così la teoria
circa il rapporto tra il consumo di marca globale e mercato della Cina , il
esperimento è l'analisi etnografica per comprendere il rapporto tra il
prodotti della marca scelta e la popolazione cinese , e circa l'uso di quelle
oggetti e la concezione stessa di quegli oggetti inerenti alla cultura cinese .
Quello che ho intenzione di fare è abbattere il grande muro di ignoranza tra la Cina e
Paesi occidentali .China is a huge country with a large population. Starting from this consideration most
of the Global Companies consider easy the penetration of the China Market just
because they watch at this population as a stereotype. Many Global Consumer Brands,
that are leaders in their own countries, invest in the China Market, then they fail.
Especially the 3M company is a multi brand, and some of these brands are less
successful. Is also not considered that the China territory is so vast and diverse
internally because of the provinces in which it is divided. Each region have similar
culture and politic, but not the same, as different prices and lifestyle, sometime
completely different each other and sometime very similar, but never properly the
same. Nowadays one of the most common mistakes of the Western culture is to think
that there's only one stereotype of the chinese person and that they are everybody the
same in China, with the same needs. What I am going to do? The basic method of the
whole thesis is to collect the theories available to make an experiment. So the theory
about the relationship between the Global Consumer Brand and China Market, the
experiment is ethnographic analysis to understand the relationship between the
products of the brand chosen and the Chinese population, and about the use of those
objects and the conception itself of those objects inherent in Chinese culture.

Western countries
