K.C. Wu Collection
K.C. Wu (1903-1984) served as mayor of several Chinese cities during the 1930s and 1940s and then in December 1949 was appointed Governor of Taiwan by Chiang Kai-shek. Wu emigrated to the United States in 1954. Wu joined the faculty of Armstrong from 1966 to 1973. The collection consists of biographical information, manuscripts mainly of The Chinese Heritage (1982) and early novel Flags and Cross, lecture notes, clippings and information on his lawsuit with the National Endowment for the Humanities in 1972.
