    S. cheoha Wray, 1963 – Schaefferia cheoha Wray, 1963: 103 BC Setälä & Marshall 1994; Skidmore 1995; Addison et al. 2003; Cannings 2010 Remarks: Fjellberg (1985) supposed that this insufficiently described species might be a junior synonym of S. duodecimocellata. Its specific status was confirmed only recently by Bernard (2015) after redescription of Wray’s types. That is why the above records of S. cheoha are probably questionable. General distribution: Nearctic.Published as part of Babenko, Anatoly, Stebaeva, Sophya & Turnbull, Matthew S., 2019, An updated checklist of Canadian and Alaskan Collembola, pp. 1-125 in Zootaxa 4592 (1) on page 20, DOI: 10.11646/zootaxa.4592.1.1, http://zenodo.org/record/265692

    H. promatro Wray, 1950 – Hypogastrura promatro Wray, 1950: 94 – Hypogastrura utahensis Wray, 1953: 4 BC Christiansen & Bellinger 1980, 1998; Skidmore 1995; Cannings 2010 all as utahensis Remarks: According to Bernard (2015, p. 319), who redescribed the species based on Wray’s types and sunk utahensis into promatro, “specimens of H. utahensis from British Columbia (Christiansen & Bellinger 1980, 1998) need to be reevaluated to establish their identity”. Bernard (2015) also highlighted that “the two species (Nearctic promatro and Palaearctic vernalis) are very similar and H. promatro could be a junior synonym of H. vernalis ”. General distribution: Nearctic.Published as part of Babenko, Anatoly, Stebaeva, Sophya & Turnbull, Matthew S., 2019, An updated checklist of Canadian and Alaskan Collembola, pp. 1-125 in Zootaxa 4592 (1) on page 13, DOI: 10.11646/zootaxa.4592.1.1, http://zenodo.org/record/265692
