Reflection Ptychography via Auto Differentiation on a High Harmonic EUV beamline
We demonstrate our beamline using a table-top HHG EUV source for lensless imaging application in reflection m ode. T he s ample r eflection fu nction is reconstructed using an auto-differentiation based ptychographic algorithm built on TensorFlow platform.Green Open Access added to TU Delft Institutional Repository 'You share, we take care!' - Taverne project https://www.openaccess.nl/en/you-share-we-take-care Otherwise as indicated in the copyright section: the publisher is the copyright holder of this work and the author uses the Dutch legislation to make this work public.ImPhys/Coene groupImPhys/Optic
Modeling and prediction of thermally induced imaging errors in deep- and extreme-ultraviolet lithography
EUV mask feature reconstruction via phase retrieval
EUV lithography is the main candidate for patterning of future technology nodes. Its successful implementation depends on many aspects, among which the availability of actinic mask metrology tools able to inspect the patterned absorber in order to control and monitor the lithographic process. In this work, we perform a simulation study to assess the performance of coherent diffractive imaging (CDI) and related phase retrieval methods for the reconstruction of non-Trivially shaped and a-periodic nanostructures from far field intensity data.ImPhys/Optic
A Non-linear Signal Processing Model for Signal Generation in Multilevel Two Dimensional Optical Storage
A two-dimensional optical storage (TwoDOS) format with binary modulation is being developed in which channel bits are arranged on a two-dimensional hexagonal lattice [W. M. J. Coene, in Optical Data Storage, Vol. 88 of OSA Trends in Optics and Photonics Series (Optical Society of America, Washington, D.C., 2003), pp. 90–92]. The aim is to increase the capacity by a factor of 2 and the data rate by a factor of 10 over third-generation Blu-ray Disc technology. Following a route similar to that used in one-dimensional conventional optical storage [Jpn. J. Appl. Phys. 42, 1074 (2003)] could lead to a further increase in capacity by the addition of another dimension to writing data, such as the use of multiple levels instead of the two levels (pit and land) used in the binary TwoDOS disk format. We present a nonlinear signal-processing model for signal waveform generation as a function of the M -ary channel symbols, as well as simulated signal readouts for multilevel TwoDOS
Combining ptychographical algorithms with the Hybrid Input-Output (HIO) algorithm
AbstractIn this article we combine the well-known Ptychographical Iterative Engine (PIE) with the Hybrid Input-Output (HIO) algorithm. The important insight is that the HIO feedback function should be kept strictly separate from the reconstructed object, which is done by introducing a separate feedback function per probe position. We have also combined HIO with floating PIE (fPIE) and extended PIE (ePIE). Simulations indicate that the combined algorithm performs significantly better in many situations. Although we have limited our research to a combination with HIO, the same insight can be used to combine ptychographical algorithms with any phase retrieval algorithm that uses a feedback function
Plasmon enhanced fluorescence from meticulously positioned gold nanoparticles, deposited by ultra sonic spray coating on organic light emitting diodes
Enhancement of the spontaneous emission of fluorophores aided by plasmonic nanoparticles (PNPs) prompts the growth of plasmonic organic light emitting diodes (OLEDs). Together with the spatial dependence of the fluorophore and PNPs on enhanced fluorescence, the surface coverage of the PNPs controls the charge transport in OLEDs. Hence, here, the spatial and surface coverage reliance of plasmonic gold nanoparticles is controlled by a roll-to-roll compatible ultrasonic spray coating technique. A 2-fold enhancement in the multi photon fluorescence is seen by two-photon fluorescence microscopy for a polystyrene sulfonate (PSS) stabilized gold nanoparticle located 10 nm away from the super yellow fluorophore. Fluorescence enhancement combined with ∼2% surface coverage of PNPs, provides a 33%, 20% and ∼40% increase in the electroluminescence, luminous efficacy and external quantum efficiency, respectively.sponsorship: Universiteit Hasselt|BOF18NI05status: Publishe
