[EN] The theories of W. Whyte in his book The Social Life of Small Urban Spaces and R. In this TFG we analyse both researches with the aim of highlighting the main ideas of their studies by taking them to a practical application in a case study: the analysis of the Plaça San Felip Neri and the Plaça Xúquer in Valencia. In particular, we will focus on analysing how social life is generated in squares and we will try to glimpse the capacity of the design of urban public spaces to generate social life. The work will be supported by plans and graphic documentation of the spaces under study.Tendero Marchante, S. (2021). Pequeños y grandes espacios entre W. Whyte y R. Oldenburg.
