Letter from Mrs. Wesley Wilson to Amon Carter regarding her nephew in the military.Brownwood Texas May 2, 1943 Dear Mr. Carter. You will never know how much your letter and the clippings were appreciated, but let me try to thank you. Thursday April 29th we received a telegram from the war department informing his mother that Robert W. Stewart is a prisoner of war held by the Germans on German territory and saying a letter will follow. Knowing that he is alive and may some day be restored to us is a great help. Thanking you again for your kindness and I had to tell you of the news from my nephew. Respt. Mrs Wesley Wilson
