Strotocera inaequalis (Pic, 1932) (Figs. 26, 78) Eucymatodera inaequalis Pic, 1932: 4; Pic 1933: 109. Length: 12mm (1 specimen). Head: Reddish black; finely punctate. Antennae: Light brown; not reaching base of pronotum when laid alongside; A 4 –A 10 serrate. Pronotum: Reddish brown; slightly dilated anteriorly, constricted towards base, disc with six gibbosities on disc and two gibbosities at base (in middle), finely and diffusely punctate; length:width ratio 1.59: 1. Scutellum: Brown. Elytra: Reddish brown to brown with; each elytron with an indistinct yellowish lateral spot in the basal third, and a yellow transverse fasciae beyond middle spanning from lateral to sutural margins; diameter of punctures mostly larger than interstices, punctures within fasciae small and sparsely distributed, punctures behind transverse fasciae elongate, apex very finely and diffusely punctate; length:width ratio 2.36: 1. Legs: Reddish brown to brown. Lower surface: Head and thorax red-brown, abdomen light brown. Vestiture: With white hairs. Diplocladus compactus Gerstmeier & Weiss, n. sp. (Figs. 5, 40) Length: 18.4mm (1 specimen). Head: Black; coarsely wrinkled. Antennae: Dark brown to black, not reaching base of pronotum when laid alongside; A 3 only slightly triangular. Pronotum: Red, more than one half of the apex (anterior margin to transverse depression) black; dilated anteriorly, slightly constricted towards base; anterior margin bent upwards in the middle; the black part of apex with tubercles and fine, dense wrinkles, the remainder coarsely wrinkled; length:width ratio 1.57: 1. Scutellum: Black. Elytra: Black; each elytron with a yellow lateral spot in the basal third and a yellowish transverse fascia beyond middle spanning from lateral to sutural margins; diameter of punctures smaller than interstices, punctures within fascia small and sparsely distributed, irregularly punctate behind fasciae; length:width ratio 2.21: 1. Length: 8mm (1 specimen). Head: Dark reddish brown to black; finely and diffusely punctate. Antennae: Dark reddish brown; not reaching base of pronotum when laid alongside; A 4 –A 10 serrate. Pronotum: Dark reddish brown to black; slightly punctate; anterior half subparallel, conspicuously constricted towards base, with four elevations on disc; finely and diffusely punctate; length:width ratio 1.62: 1. Scutellum: Dark red-brown. Elytra: Dark reddish brown to black, each elytron with a whitish lateral spot in the basal third and a yellowbrown transverse fascia beyond middle spanning from lateral to sutural margins, fascia with a short extension towards base, apex brown; diameter of punctures smaller or larger than interstices, punctures elongate behind fasciae, impunctate towards apex; length:width ratio 2.62: 1. Legs: Dark reddish brown to black. Lower surface: Head and thorax dark red-brown, abdomen brown to light brown. Vestiture: With yellowish hairs. Distribution: South Africa. Elytra: Long, reddish brown; diameter of punctures mostly larger than interstices, punctures becoming smaller towards apex; length:width ratio 2.99: 1. Head: Black; wrinkled. Antennae: Black; not reaching base of pronotum when laid alongside. Pronotum: Black; slightly dilated anteriorly, constricted towards base; middle of apex finely transversely wrinkled, surface anterior to transverse depression finely punctate and wrinkled, disc with a transverse line of white hairs; length:width ratio 1.6: 1. Scutellum: Black. Elytra: Black; each elytron with a yellow transverse fascia beyond middle spanning from lateral to sutural margins; diameter of punctures larger than interstices, punctures within fasciae small and sparsely distributed, irregularly punctate behind fascia (punctures mostly elongate); length:width ratio 2.6: 1. Legs: Black. Lower surface: Black-brown to black. Vestiture: Head, pronotal margins, elytral lateral margins, legs and lower surface with white hairs, pronotal and elytral disc with reddish hairs. Distribution: Cameroon.
