Queer in a Wee Place : Small Nations, Sexuality & Scotland
Queer in a Wee Place explores identity, inequality and belonging in animated conversations about how queerness moves through place – and how place, in turn, shapes queer lives. Building on interdisciplinary sexualities scholarship, activism, creative practices, as well as legislative and cultural critique, this open access book examines the past, present and future imaginings of queerness in Scotland, as a 'wee place'. With cases covering law, policies, cultural institutions, education, and everyday life, this collection offers an in-depth analysis of Scottish queer experience, showing how 'wee places' reflect and inflect global dynamics – revealing tensions between national pride, visibility and exclusion. Scotland's national claims about being world-leading in the advancement of LGBTQ+ rights often re-invoke a global hierarchy of places to be queer. The under-resourcing of and backlash against equality, diversity and inclusion initiatives, and colliding legislation such as hate crime laws and the UK Supreme Court ruling, expose a more complicated truth

Branding campaign for Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information.
The UNIC Productions is a group of four NTU students from the Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information, who have chosen to brand their school for their Final Year Project. In line with the school’s name change from the School of Communication and Information to the Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information, UNIC Productions used this opportunity to increase the current and prospective students’ awareness of the name change and the many opportunities the school have for the students in their studies. The project also aims to have an increase in enrolment of higher calibre students. This is necessary due to competition from other institutions. The team worked with the Wee Kim Wee launch committee and the school’s career guidance department whereby the team employed the measures of research, events management, public relations and evaluation to realise the above objectives. This report documents the core strategies and platforms the UNIC team have used in the campaign.Bachelor of Communication Studie

I Love My Wee Hoose!
Over the past 25 years SHARE Scotland has helped many people with significant support needs demonstrate that, when given the chance, they can lead an active and fulfilling life, contribute enormously to their community and above all make their own decisions about the things that are important to them.
We wanted to share their achievements and to celebrate our 25th anniversary we wrote this book, I Love My Wee Hoose. In it, we celebrate not only the remarkabe journey of a group of families determined to build a better life for their children, but also their own love of life and a strength of spirit that offers inspiration for us all.</p
