The Baccalieu Trail Heritage Corporation is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to preserving, promoting and protecting the heritage of the Baccalieu Trail Region. This project includes memories of living and working in the area, going to school, children’s games, home remedies, the first modes of transportation, supernatural beliefs, traditional industries and calendar customs and celebrations. This interview is an oral history conducted by Rich Schmidt with Jack Warren. The interview took place at Linfield University on March 3, 2020.
The interview was conducted as part of Linfield University\u27s project celebrating the 65th anniversary of The Streak. Linfield\u27s football team has not had a losing record in a season since 1955, an unprecedented run of success. These interviews are with people who contributed to the 1956 Linfield team that won the conference championship and began The Streak.
