Newspaper Clippings About Jennie Ward Philip
This black and white five page document features news articles from the Hays Daily News in 1953 and 1955. Jennie Ward Philip was highlighted as the first student to enroll in Fort Hays State University in 1902. At the time the university was called the Western Branch of the Kansas Normal School. Two black and white photographs of Philip are included in the articles.https://scholars.fhsu.edu/commencement/2112/thumbnail.jp
