DESCRIPTION OF CORTICICOCCUSGEN. NOV. Corticicoccus [Cor.ti.ci.coc′ cus. L. n. cortex bark; N.L. masc. n. coccus (from Gr. masc. n. kokkos grain, seed), coccus; N.L. masc. n. Corticicoccus a coccoid from bark]. Cells are Gram-stain positive, aerobic, non-motile and coccoid. Colonies are milk-white, circular, opaque and convex with entire margins on TSA (pH 7). The optimal pH for growth is pH 7.0–8.0 and no growth is observed at pH 5. Positive for oxidase, catalase and b- glucosidase activities. Nitrate is not reduced to nitrite. The main menaquinone is MK-7. The peptidoglycan type is A3a based on L- Lys-Gly3-?Ala. The polar lipid profile contains diphosphatidylglycerol, phosphatidylglycerol, two unidentified phospholipids and three unidentified glycolipids. The major fatty acids are anteiso-C 15: 0, iso-C 15: 0, iso-C 17: 0 and anteiso-C 17: 0. The DNA G+C content is 38.2 mol%. The type species is Corticicoccus populi.Published as part of Li, Yong, Wang, Sheng-kun, Xue, Han, Chang, Ju-pu, Guo, Li-min & Yang, Xu-qi, 2017, Corticicoccus populi gen. nov., sp. nov., a member of the family Staphylococcaceae, isolated from symptomatic bark of Populus × euramericana canker, pp. 789-794 in International Journal of Systematic and Evolutionary Microbiology 67 (4) on page 793, DOI: 10.1099/ijsem.0.001602, http://zenodo.org/record/622367

Acosmetides trigentis Chang & Wang & Shi 2021, gen. et comb. nov.
Acosmetides trigentis (Wang, Bian & Shi, 2016) gen. et comb. nov. Acosmetura trigentis Wang, Bian & Shi, 2016: 390. Remarks The original description of the species is exact and the figure is clear (Wang P. et al. 2016). Based on the male tenth abdominal tergite with a notch in the middle of the posterior margin and the middle lobe of the subgenital plate distinct, the species should belong to the genus Acosmetides gen. nov. An autoethnography on Diaohua Chang / Wang Lei
This dissertation focuses on an autoethnographical account of Diaohua Chang in Kuala Lumpur with a case study at three nightclubs. Diaohua Chang is a live-singing performance of Chinese popular songs common to venues such as open-air food court and night clubs. The present research studied Diaohua Chang at nightclub setting. The selected nightclubs host Diaohua Chang, a live singing performance on a stage in a Karaoke Pub setting. There is a serious lack of studies on Diaohua Chang. Related past literature such as Tan (1984), Chang (2014) and Chin (2015) described the cultural elements of the sing-song performances of Getai and Hua Chang, however most are from an outsider perspective. In this study, the author explored the very much female dominated Diaohua Chang from an insider and male perspective in an auto-ethnographical tradition. This dissertation aims to provide a holistic view and discussion on Diaohua Chang and its social and gender issues with a self-reflexive account of the author’s participant observation at the field
