Existence of pseudo-equilibria in a financial economy

    No full text
This paper proves the existence of a pseudo-equilibrium in a financial economy with incomplete markets in which the agents may have nonordered preferences. We will use a fixed-point-like theorem of Bich and Cornet that generalizes the results by Hirsch, Magill, Mas-Colell [18] and Husseini, Lasry, Magill [19] to encompass the framework considered by Gale and Mas-Colell ([14], [15]).Pseudo-equilibrium ; incomplete markets ; nonordered preferences ; fixed-point-like theorems ; Grassmann manifold

    No full text
Rilke\u27s Cornet, Hofmannstahl\u27s Reitergeschichte, and Schnitzler\u27s Leutnant Gustl are examined in terms of values and their decline in the areas of the military, the family, religion. and life and death. Cornet glorifies all of these values, and serves as the example. In Reitergeschichte, the decline begins, and Leutnant Gustl portrays the absolute debasement of these values

Rilkes Cornet : ein systematischer Vergleich der drei Fassungen

    No full text
Rainer Maria RiIke\u27s Die Weise von Liebe und Tod des Cornets Christoph Rilke appears in three separate versions, the 1899 draft, a 1904 revision, and the 1906 revision which is recognized as Rilke\u27s final version of the work. The brevity, structure, and underlying lyricism of the work have made the changes between versions the subject of occasional, if incomplete, critical attention. However, thus far no line by line or word by word comparison of the three texts has been done. The purpose of this study is to present a systematic and complete analysis of all structural and linguistic changes between the three versions of Cornet. The first chapter presents the genesis of the three texts, and the second offers a brief interpretation of the 1906 text. The third chapter contains the analysis, section by section, inte grating the three versions of the Cornet. The study shows that Rilke\u27s changes resulted in a superior final version
