filler. The first part developed in Pope John Paul II State School of Higher Education
in Biała Podlaska contains studies and guidelines on the application of composites
with fibrous hemp shives filler. Research and technological guidelines made at
the State Technical University in Brest may be helpful in the implementation of
ecological and energy-efficient buildings for a wide application

The modified early age strains development model for the case of two-way restraint conditions
This paper proposes a design model (2D MSDM) for assessment the early-age stress-strain parameters of two-axially restrained expansive concrete elements. The analytical model allows defining the restrained expansion strains and corresponding self-stresses in case of arbitrary restraint conditions in orthogonal directions by taking into consideration the elastic-plastic behavior of concrete during the expansion period. The results of solution according to the proposed model were compared with the experimental results of expansive concrete elements with orthogonal confinement carried out by authors and other researchers
Ramsey multiplicity and the Tur\'an coloring
Extending an earlier conjecture of Erd\H{o}s, Burr and Rosta conjectured that
among all two-colorings of the edges of a complete graph, the uniformly random
coloring asymptotically minimizes the number of monochromatic copies of any
fixed graph . This conjecture was disproved independently by Sidorenko and
Thomason. The first author later found quantitatively stronger counterexamples,
using the Tur\'an coloring, in which one of the two colors spans a balanced
complete multipartite graph.
We prove that the Tur\'an coloring is extremal for an infinite family of
graphs, and that it is the unique extremal coloring. This yields the first
determination of the Ramsey multiplicity constant of a graph for which the
Burr--Rosta conjecture fails.
We also prove an analogous three-color result. In this case, our result is
conditional on a certain natural conjecture on the behavior of two-color Ramsey
numbers.Comment: 39 pages, final version to appear in Advances in Combinatoric
Shear resistance of self-stressing concrete elements expanded under 2D restraint conditions
An analytical design model for estimation the shear resistance of plane self-stressing concrete elements with orthogonal reinforcement is presented. The design model is based on the strut-and-tie model concept and takes into consideration the restrained expansion strains and selfstresses as a result of self-stressing concrete expansion. The results of theoretical investigations were finally compared to the experimental ones showing the suitability of proposed design method
Shear resistance of expensive concrete beams reinforced with FRP longitudinal bars
This paper presents the results of testing beams reinforced with FRP in combination with expansive concrete. Failure modes under uniformly distributed loading and ultimate forces recorded in tests are described. The results of comparison of shear resistance models against the background of experimental data are presented
Assessment of the existing reinforced concrete structures with usage of the fuzzy logic – based expert system
Fuzzy logic is the useful tool when assessing the existing reinforced concrete structures. The introduction of expert system in assessing the technical condition of the existing structures built on the fuzzy logic represents a transition to a new and higher-quality level for survey of constructions sites. As a result, it is seen that the assessment of the existing building with usage of the proposed expert system is in compliance with the estimation of the qualified experts

Niezawodność wielkogabarytowego kablobetonu jako płyt fundamentowych
Тур Андрей Викторович; Тур Виктор Владимирович. Надежность крупногабаритной постнапряженной плиты на уклонThe present artiele describes some of the possible ways of usage of the post-tensioned flat slabs and the rational design procedures to provide their structural reliability.Theoreticalbackground of the punching resistance checking, in the case when the piles support the foundation pos-tensioned slabs, presented. For ground floor slabs, an iterative method given for determining design compression pre-stresses distribution in slab sections, taking into account the restrained effect created by the friction shear stresses in contact between slab and the base. In addition, the article presents some uncial practical implementations of the post-tensioned slabs as an artificial base in the presence of weak soils and as a large-size ground floor (slab-on-grade) without any joints
Modelling of the shear resistance of self-stressed beams reinforced with FRP applying the Critical Shear Crack Theory
This paper presents a mechanical model of the shear resistance based on Critical Shear Crack Theory (CSCT) and its application for the checking of the shear ultimate state of self-stressed elements reinforced with FRP bars. The shear force, which is transmitted through the inclined crack by aggregate interlock, residual tensile strength, dowel action and inclined chord of the compression concrete, is calculated depending on the value of the inclined crack opening, determined according to the modified law “bond-slip” for FRP bars. The reliability of the proposed approach is confirmed by comparison both with the results of our own experimental investigations and with numerous research results by various authors
