    Gamification is the use of game-designed elements and techniques in non-game related context. It is a relatively new concept that can be used in education, business, and in everyday life.The thesis presents different aspects of gamification use in everyday life. The author of the work has sought to explore how many people and to what extent they know the concept of gamification, what they think about it and whether they agree that such a concept gives positive results in various fields. This study included the fields of: education, healthy living and marketing.Igrifikacija je uporaba game-designed elementa in tehnike v vsebini, ki niso igre in je relativno nov koncept, ki se uporablja v izobraževanju, poslovanju in tudi v vsakdanjem življenju. V magistrskem delu so predstavljeni različni aspekti uporabe igrifikacije v vsakdanjem življenju. Avtorica dela je poskušala raziskati koliko ljudi in v kolikšni meri pozna koncept igrifikacije, kaj mislijo o njem in ali se strinjajo da takšen koncept daje pozitivne rezultate v različnih sferah. V raziskavo so bile vključene sfere: izobraževanja, zdraveg življenja in poslovna sfera

    V diplomski nalogi smo raziskali področje ter programske rešitve ocenjevanja in razvrščanja vsebin, ki so dostopne preko spletnih skupnosti. Raziskali smo, zakaj je to področje priljubljeno in potrebno. Predstavili in primerjali smo različne že obstoječe rešitve ocenjevanja in razvrščanja vsebin, ki so javno dostopne in razvili mobilno aplikacijo, kjer smo poskušali združiti dobre prakse že obstoječih rešitev. Ugotovili smo, da je za pridobitev realne ocene vsebine potrebno pregledati več različnih virov in upoštevati tudi pisno oceno ter verodostojnost avtorja.In thesis we studied the area and software solutions for evaluation and ranking of content that are accessible through online communities. We explored why is this area so popular and necessary. We presented and compared different existing solutions for evaluation and ranking of content that are publicly accessible and developed a mobile application in which we tried to combine best practices of existing solutions.     V diplomskem delu je raziskano področje upravljanja odnosov s strankami, ki se nanaša predvsem na poslovanje s strankami. V uvodu so natančneje predstavljeni problem, cilji, omejitve in struktura diplomskega dela. V praktičnem delu diplomskega dela je poudarek na načrtovanju, ki rešuje podan problem beleženja odnosov s poslovnimi partnerji, vključno z uporabnimi funkcionalnostmi kot so opomnik in delitev partnerjev na skupine. V zaključnih poglavjih diplomskega dela sledi opis implementacije programske rešitve.This thesis studied the area of customer relationship management, which focuses on operations with clients. In the introduction we presented problems, objectives, limitations and the structure of the thesis. In the practical part of the thesis we focused on solving the given problem of logging relations with business partners, including useful functionalities such as reminders and dividing partners into groups. In the final chapters of the thesis follows a description of the implementation of software solutions

    Implementing machine learning models on mobile devices using the ML Kit software framework

    V zaključnem delu smo predstavili programsko ogrodje “ML Kit” (Machine Learning Kit – komplet strojnega učenja) ter njegove modele, tehnologije in lastnosti. Ogrodje omogoča izvajanje vnaprej omogočenih modelov strojnega učenja na mobilnih napravah. V teoretičnem delu smo pojasnili, kaj je strojno učenje in umetna inteligenca in zakaj ogrodje ne potrebuje znanje nobenih. V nadaljevanju smo razložili obstoječe rešitve, podrobnosti posameznih modelov in tehnologij ML Kit-а. Za praktičnem delu smo naredili mobilna aplikacija za skeniranje računov v Android Studio, tako da smo s pomočjo analize in načrtovanja uspešno izvedli model na napravi za prepoznavanje besedila iz slik.In this thesis we presented the software framework “ML Kit” with its models, technologies and features. The framework enables the implementation of pre-enabled machine learning models on mobile devices. In the theoretical part, we explained what machine learning and artificial intelligence are and why the framework does not need the knowledge of neither. Below we explained the details of individual models and technologies of ML Kit, as well as other existing solutions. For the practical part, we made a mobile application for scanning invoices in Android Studio. With the help of analysis and planning, we successfully implemented the on device model for recognizing text in images

    Dandanes je veliko povpraševanje po računalniških igrah. Brskalnike lahko uporabljamo kot platformo za igre, kar smo teoretično in praktično preverili v diplomski nalogi. Raziskali smo področje mrežne komunikacije in problematiko igranja več-igralskih iger v tem okolju. Predstavili smo ključne lastnosti realno-časovnih iger in potek njihovega delovanja. Zanimale so nas tudi tiste tehnologije in igralni pogoni, ki omogočajo razvoj tovrstnih iger za brskalnike. Napisali smo načrt za prototip, kjer smo definirali zahteve ter načrtovane načine implementacije. Na podlagi zbranega znanja smo nato uspešno ustvarili prototip delujoče realno-časovne več-igralske igre za brskalnike.Nowadays there is great demand for video games. Browsers can be used as platforms for games, which we have theoretically and practically verified in this thesis. We researched the field of network communication and what are the problematics of muliplayer gameplay in that environment. We looked at the key attributes of real-time games and how they work. We were also interested in the technologies and game engines which allow the development of these kind of games for browsers. We wrote a plan for a prototype in which we defined it’s requirements and the ways of development. Based on our gained knowledge we successfully created a prototype of a real-time multiplayer game for browsers

    V diplomskem delu smo izdelali 2D video igro z imenom Jump Star za različne platforme. Za izdelavo video igre smo uporabili programsko orodje Cliscktem Fusion Developer 2.5. Na začetku smo si ogledali zgodovino ter lastnosti, ki nam jih programsko orodje ponuja. Pri fazi implementacije smo predstavili celoten razvoj video igre. V zadnjem delu smo testirali video igro na treh različnih platformah in spremljali obremenitev grafičnega pospeševalnika, procesorja in število generiranih sličic na sekundo. Igra je najbolje delovala na Windows platformi v okenskem zagonu aplikacije, pri drugih so se pojavile manjše grafične napake.In this thesis we created a 2D video game named Jump Star, which can run on different platforms. The game was created with software called Clickteam Fusion developer 2.5. In the beginning of the thesis, we covered a brief history of software and some specifications that it offers. In the phase of implementation, we presented the whole development of the game. At the final stage, we tested the game on three different platforms and monitored the performance of graphics processor, main processor and frames per second. Video game worked best on Windows platform in window startup applicationson other platforms some minor graphical errors have occurred

    Diplomsko delo obsega opis in predstavitev informacijske rešitve za podporo samoizobraževanja. Ker se uporaba informacijskih komunikacijskih tehnologij vsako leto povečuje, je namen diplomskega dela preučiti informacijske rešitve na področju samoizobraževanja za posameznike in podjetja. Cilj diplomske naloge je razviti spletno aplikacijo za samoizobraževanje, kjer se nahajajo elektronska gradiva in spletni kvizi, ki so namenjeni za spletno preverjanje znanja preko spleta. Spletna aplikacija omogoča dodajanje novih elektronskih gradiv, spletnih kvizov, urejanje spletne vsebine in podajanje rezultatov spletnih kvizov. V diplomski nalogi so analizirane nekatere obstoječe informacijske rešitve in tehnologije, nato je opisan načrt in razvoj spletne aplikacije, sledi implementacija sistema in testiranje naše spletne aplikacije. Spletna aplikacija je odprtokodna in je na voljo vsem, ki jih zanima informacijska rešitev.This diploma paper includes the description and presentation of information solutions for self-education support. As the use of information communication technologies increases every year, the purpose of this paper is to study information solutions in the field of self-education for individuals and companies. The aim of the thesis is to develop a web application for self-study, which contain electronic materials and online quizzes, designed for online testing on the internet. The web application allows one to add new electronic materials, online quizzes, edit web content and present the results of online quizzes. The thesis analyzes some of the existing IT solutions and technology, it describes the design and development of web applications and then the implementation of the system and testing of our web application. This web application is open source and is available to all people interested in information solutions

    Designing a mobile application for aiding foreign students of the University of Maribor

    Na Univerzi v Mariboru število tujih študentov raste. Ob prihodu na študij se srečajo z administrativnimi postopki, ki so pogosto kompleksni, informacije o njih pa razpršene ali nejasne, zato smo jim z raziskavo želeli pomagati pri reševanju težav. Za identifikacijo težav smo tujim študentom razdelili anketni vprašalnik. Na podlagi rezultatov vprašalnika in intervjuja z Mednarodno pisarno UM smo ugotovili, da bi bila mobilna aplikacija ustrezna rešitev za najbolj bistvene težave. Na podlagi tega smo zasnovali mobilno aplikacijo ter s pomočjo uporabniškega testiranja prototipa ocenili njeno uporabnost. Za zbiranje podatkov o uporabnosti smo uporabili USE vprašalnik. Rezultati so pokazali, da je zasnovana aplikacija uporabna pri odpravi identificiranih težav tujih študentov.The number of foreign students at the University of Maribor is growing. When they come to study, they encounter administrative procedures that are often complex, with information being scattered or unclear, hence with the research we wanted to help the students with the problems they encounter. To identify problems, we distributed a questionnaire to foreign students. Based on the results of the questionnaire and the interview with the UM International Office, we concluded that a mobile application would be a suitable solution for the most essential problems. Based on this, we designed a mobile application and evaluated its usability with the help of user testing of the prototype. We used the USE questionnaire to collect usability data. The results showed that the designed application is useful in solving the identified problems of foreign students

    DEVELOPMENT OF A DECISION SUPPORT SYSTEM USING THE NON-DOMINATED SORTING

    V diplomskem delu smo razvili spletni informacijski sistem, ki uporabniku pomaga izbrati najboljšo alternativo (rešitev) večkriterijskega odločitvenega problema. Sistem razvrsti (rangira) alternative v več skupin, od najboljše skupine do najslabše. Znotraj posamezne skupine so vse alternative enakovredne. Uporabnikova naloga je le, da glede na lastne izkušnje in dane okoliščine, izbere najbolj ugodno alternativo v najboljši skupini. Sistem je univerzalen, zato omogoča reševanje raznovrstnih odločitvenih problemov. Za razvrstitev (rangiranje) alternativ po prednostnem vrstnem redu smo uporabili modul za nedominirano razvrščanje, ki temelji na Pareto optimalnosti in je napisan v programskem jeziku lisp. Preostali moduli sistema so napisani v javi in z njim komunicirajo prek datotek oblike LSP in XML. Spletna podpora je izvedena s sodobnimi tehnologijami, med katerimi so EJB, JSF, PrimeFaces, jQuery, JavaScript, AJAX, XHTML in CSS3. Delovanje sistema z uporabnikovega zornega kota smo ilustrirali z dvema primeroma. Prvi prikazuje splošni izbor optimalnih alternativ, ko uporabnik poda število alternativ in kriterijev ter obseg vrednosti za vsak kriterij, vrednosti kriterijev za vsako alternativo pa se generirajo naključno, drugi pa izbiro optimalnega dobavitelja z ozirom na ceno, kakovost in dobavni rok izdelka ter renome in oddaljenost dobavitelja.In this diploma work, we have developed a web-based information system that helps a user to choose the best alternative (solution) regarding a multicriteria decision problem. This system sorts (ranks) alternatives into several groups, from the best to the worst group. All alternatives within each group are equivalent. According to the user’s experiences and the circumstances, his/her task is just to choose the most favourable alternative within the best group. This system is universal and thus allows the solving of a wide range of decision problems. We have used a module for non-dominated sorting based on Pareto optimality and written in Lisp programming language for sorting (ranking) alternatives in the preferred order. The remaining modules of the system are written in Java and communicate with it through the files of types LSP and XML, respectively. Web support is implemented using modern technologies including EJB, JSF, PrimeFaces, jQuery, JavaScript, AJAX, XHTML, and CSS3. Operation of the system from the user\u27s perspective is illustrated using two examples. The first one shows the general selection of optimal alternatives when the user specifies the number of alternatives, the number of criteria, and the range of values for each criterion, whilst the criteria values for each alternative are generated randomly. The second one presents the choice of optimal supplier with respect to price, quality, and delivery time of the product, as well as of the reputation and remoteness of the supplier
