The witnesses/narrators, AMA and HH, experienced migration and detention in Italy. AMA’s story, The teenager’s tale, is retold by Maurizio Veglio, the lawyer who collected it, while HH’s tale, Fortunes and misfortunes of Mr. HH, is narrated by himself. These narratives are part of a project of storytelling that invites the creation of a new geography of movement, listening and solidarity by challenging the hostile environments that marginalise and silence stories. No full textL’Osservatorio sulla giurisprudenza del Giudice di Pace in materia di Immigrazione (http://lexilium.it) ha raccolto e sistematicamente analizzato i provvedimenti emessi dal GdP di Bari, Bologna, Prato, Roma e Torino, nel I e nel IV trimestre del 2015, relativi a procedimenti di: opposizione ai decreti di espulsione, convalida e proroga del trattenimento degli stranieri in attesa di espulsione, convalida dell’ordine di accompagnamento alla frontiera, convalida delle misure alternative al trattenimento. La ricerca mira a rilevare le modalità di svolgimento dell’udienza (tempi e luoghi del processo, effettività del contraddittorio, garanzie della difesa, etc.), ad analizzare le eccezioni della difesa e le argomentazioni poste a base delle decisioni, nonché a tracciare un quadro delle condizioni socio-giuridiche dei destinatari dei provvedimenti esaminati, evidenziando le criticità che connotano l’attività giurisdizionale del Giudice di Pace nella materia oggetto d’indagine. Relativamente al 2015, l’Osservatorio ha raccolto 1220 provvedimenti e analizzato i relativi procedimenti I procedimenti di opposizione all’espulsione sono stati analizzati per le sedi di Prato e Torino. I procedimenti di convalida e proroga del trattenimento sono stati analizzati per le sedi di Bari, Roma e Torino, dove sono presenti CIE. I procedimenti di convalida delle misure alternative al trattenimento sono stati analizzati per la sede di Bologna, dove il CIE non è più attivo da marzo 2013, e per la sede di Roma, dove richieste di questo tipo di provvedimenti sono pervenute all’Ufficio del GdP in seguito alla chiusura della sezione maschile del CIE, avvenuta alla fine del 2015
The strategic importance of data mining analysis for customer-centric marketing strategies
No full textThe main challenge for companies is to identify accurate models and methods to predict winning competitive strategies. Data mining is becoming an astonishing approach for data analysis because the meaningful knowledge is often hidden in enormous databases, and most traditional statistical methods could fail to uncover such knowledge. An efficient development of the customer relationship management and the data mining is the vital resource to collect and to manage this knowledge. The purpose of this chapter is to demonstrate the strong relationship between data mining and customer relationship management in order to forecast customer-centric marketing strategies. The last part of this chapter shows the results of an empirical study related to the identification of the main marketing and financial activities that could be leading customers in a credit-risk state.
