    The production of artist's books in the twentieth century is directly related to the political and avant-garde movements. Latin American writers who were part of these movements returned to the exotic beauty of the indigenous codices, the simple forms of medieval literatura de cordel--chapbooks and explore the non-conformist typography of concrete poetry, giving a new vision to book design.     Fernando Vazquez (Class of 2020) was interviewed by Sriya Reddy via the Zoom internet-based video conferencing software on August 7. 2020. He majored in computer science and was involved with College Hispanic-American Students (CHAS) and the Connect Institute, where he served as a mentor for four years. Mr. Vazquez was born in Dallas and was the eldest of three siblings. His neighborhood was mostly Latiné and his parents were born and raised in Mexico. During his time at SMU, he worked as a dishwasher at a local restaurant. At some points during his college career, he had to work more than one job to keep up with financial concerns. At the time of the interview, Vazquez was completing the 4+1 program to get a master's degree and planning to work as an engineer at State Farm

Le aree a concorso includevano anche notevoli superfici lasciate libere dalle ferrovie minori e dalle ferrovie dello stato, nonché la ex caserma Rossani. La finalità principale era quella di indicare soluzioni possibili per integrare le due metà della città a nord e a sud della ferrovia. Il progetto è stato condotto insieme allo studio Vazquez Consuegra di Siviglia, secondo una ripartizione di responsabilità pari al 60% (Vazquez Consuegra) e 40% (gruppo di architetti Bari).Il progetto si è classificato al 2° post
