'Il fiore delle Mille e una notte': dalle fiabe alla sceneggiatura, dalla sceneggiatura al film
No full text‘Il fiore delle Mille e una notte’ di Pasolini fornisce notevoli spunti di riflessione sulla questione dell’interscambio tra letteratura e cinema. Poiché esso è il frutto di un processo creativo tormentato, l’ermeneutica dell’opera risulta impreziosita da un tipo di analisi che tenga conto dei metodi della filologia d’autore. Il ricorso all’avantesto del film, a partire dall’individuazione di alcune significative differenze tra la fisionomia originaria della sceneggiatura (già distante a sua volta dalle fiabe delle ‘Mille e una notte’) e la struttura a scatole cinesi della pellicola, permette di cogliere la portata dell’operazione culturale proposta da Pasolini e di rivalutare un’opera giudicata, troppo spesso, di bassa statura ideologica. A tal proposito, prendendo in considerazione le riflessioni del cineasta sullo specifico filmico e sulla natura onirica del cinema, si può constatare che il ruolo del sogno ne ‘Il fiore delle Mille e una notte’ non è ascrivibile soltanto a una volontà di fuga dalla realtà, ma diventa l’arma con cui Pasolini affonda la critica alle contingenze storiche. Se da un lato la leggerezza del sogno esprime il mondo cui aspira la mente del demiurgo Pasolini, d’altra parte è altrettanto vero che esso è ancora impregnato dell’accezione terrificante che deriva dalla potenza visionaria di Medea. Pertanto, oltre a una contestualizzazione de ‘Il fiore delle Mille e una notte’ nel progetto più ampio della ‘Trilogia della vita’, è necessaria un’interpretazione che mira a leggere questo film in continuità con le istanze che Pasolini aveva lasciato aperte in film come ‘Medea’ e ‘Appunti per un’Orestiade africana’, piuttosto che guardare alla successiva ‘Abiura dalla Trilogia della vita’

Goethe, Giuseppe Maria Galanti in eighteenth century and Aldo Sestini in the Ê»60s described for the Touring Club the agricultural landscape of âTerra di Lavoroâ. That area looked like a great plain densely inhabited in the main urban centers, fertile, well cultivated, full of trees and gardens. This was the âCampania Felixâ up to 50 years ago. Since then, the uncontrolled expansion of the city and the landÊ1⁄4s use for transfer of waste in legal and illegal landfills, altered the nature and the environmental balance of that area. The speculative bubble of the last 50/60 years has distributed on the ground a lot of poor quality buildings, more than the need due to the demographic growth of that period. Those low quality urban additions altered the relationship between farm and urban areas and made many residual places that, because of a mistake in their valuation, were considered without any environmental and social value and inserted in legal and illegal wasteÊ1⁄4s cycle
