Estrategias de organización institucional de las unidades subestatales para la gestión internacional
No full textEl presente trabajo de investigación se propone el análisis de las unidades subestatales (regiones, departamentos, provincias, según la denominación de cada caso) en cuanto a su organización de gobierno para la gestión internacional. En tal sentido se toma como casos de análisis la Provincia de Jujuy (Argentina), el Departamento de Tarija (Bolivia) y la Región de Tarapacá (Chile), durante el periodo comprendido entre los años 2010-2015. ICT and Lean Management: Will They Ever Get Along?
No full textIn companies, Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) accelerate the speed with which information is exchanged between employees, facilitate the processing of data and improve the quality of intra-company communication. As such, ICTs are powerful management support tools and can help to boost firms' performance. However, there is no consensus as to the way in which they should be used. The aim of this article is to contribute to the discussion on the various ways that ICTs are used in companies. Its empirical analysis is based on observations of the paradoxical practices and reasoning that dominate the lean manufacturing approach. Although the lean manufacturing approach considers that ICTs are useful to a degree for carrying out certain tasks, it emphasises the inefficiencies that can result from an inappropriate use of these technologies.Use; Information and Communication Technology; Lean Management; Information Systems; Toyota Production System

No full textCet article propose une lecture littéraire des trois paratextes du commentaire au Cantique des cantiques de Juste d’Urgel, auteur espagnol de la première moitié du vie siècle. Juste apparaît ici comme un fin connaisseur de la culture antique et patristique et poursuit un double dessein de restauration des études et d’approfondissement spirituel dans une Espagne wisigothique profondément affectée par les invasions barbares qui ont précédé. Ces trois pièces liminaires nous offrent ainsi des informations précieuses pour comprendre le contexte historique et socio-économique dans lequel leur auteur s’inscrit.This article offers a literary reading of the three paratexts of the commentary on the Song of Songs by Juste d’Urgel, a Spanish author from the first half of the sixth century. Juste emerges here as an eminent scholar of classical and patristic culture, pursuing a dual aim of restoring scholarship and deepening spiritual understanding in Visigothic Spain, which had been profoundly affected by the preceding barbarian invasions. These three introductory pieces provide invaluable information for understanding the historical and socio-economic context of the author and his readers

Fair value is blamed for increasing artificial volatility and market inconsistency. However, fair value is, also, considered as able to give a true measurement of firm's value, including its financial instruments and off balance sheet items. The author explains fair value, the role of financial instruments in this accounting and the possible influence of fair value on market volatility. This article tries so to justify fair value accounting standards because they improve financial information with international and standardized rules.
JEL classifications : G14, M41La juste valeur est dénoncée par beaucoup comme étant porteuse de volatilité artificielle et susceptible d'amplifier l'incohérence des marchés. Elle est soutenue par d'autres comme étant seule capable de rendre compte de toute la réalité de l'entreprise y compris de ses engagements hors bilan et de ses instruments financiers. En revenant sur la définition de la juste valeur, la place des instruments financiers dans cette comptabilisation et les possibles impacts de la juste valeur sur la volatilité des marchés, cet article tente de recrédibiliser le recours à de tels instruments, améliorant la transparence de l'information financière grâce à la mise en oeuvre de règles harmonisées pour leur comptabilisation et leur évaluation.

No full textLa exigencia de conocer para orientarse, para poder escoger y decidir en plena conciencia,
que ha recorrido todas las culturas y todas las generaciones humanas, se ve hoy amplificada
por una inédita aceleración en los cambios de las escalas de valores, de los comportamientos
individuales y colectivos y de los contextos ambientales.
Para la conquista y la continua regeneración de una efectiva libertad de elección es indispensable
una adecuada formación cultural. Por otra parte, para fortalecer cualquier otro conocimiento
se deben perseguir las competencias que permitan acrecentarlas de modo autónomo.
A pesar de que continuamente existen distorsiones e instrumentalizaciones, la Historia
constituye un componente fundamental de la cultura, esencial para orientarse y para adquirir
raciocinio, conciencia y responsabilidad, para ser libres y autónomos en las decisiones actuales
y futuras, para favorecer la más amplia convivencia en el respeto a la diversidad, para desarrollar
la capacidad crítica necesaria para ejercitar el diálogo y el debate.
Por eso, en consideración de las continuas y rápidas transformaciones en curso es esencial
dirigir investigaciones hacia estrategias didácticas más idóneas, para ser más eficaces en la
enseñanza de la Historia en todos los niveles educativos, activando reflexiones de ámbito
nacional e internacional.
Con este manifiesto se pretende liderar y compartir la exigencia de responder a las nuevas
necesidades formativas y de cualificación futura de la oferta educativa, activando metodologías
didácticas funcionales, que favorezcan a los alumnos la asunción de capacidades esenciales,
diversas pero acordes, por ejemplo, la de activar una competente atención al mundo global y la
de desarrollar el sentido de pertenencia al propio territorio mediante el conocimiento de sus raíces, de su cultura y de su historia, para secundar una ardiente y responsable participación en la vida de la comunidad y del territorio al que pertenece, con una perspectiva de sostenibilidad
Plasmonic/magnetic nanocomposites: Gold nanorods-functionalized silica coated magnetic nanoparticles
No full text: We report here on the fabrication of a new example of nano-object that combines magnetic and plasmonic properties. The strategy is based on the electrostatic assembly of negatively charged gold nanorods (NIR-resonant) on positively charged silica-coated iron oxide nanoparticles. Silica coating of magnetic nanoparticles prevented iron oxide nanoparticles irreversible aggregation in water environment. Finally the stability of the nanocomposite in biological medium has been improved through a protein coating (BSA, bovine serum albumin). Morphological, optical and magnetic properties of the hybrid nanomaterials have been evaluated as well as its ability to be manipulated by an external magnetic field. Furthermore, temperature characterization upon NIR laser excitation has been performed in order to assess nanocomposite capability of increasing local environmental temperature. This nanomaterial could be used as a smart tool for photothermal treatment of cancerous lesions in order to maximize precision and efficacy of tissue heating upon laser stimulation by magnetically accumulating nanoparticles nearby the cancerous lesion, avoiding dispersion of the nanomaterial
