This strategic importance of the Indian Ocean has diversified India’s national security objectives intertwined with its national interests. On top of that, the US has strengthened its relations with India in the last two decades; as a result, the Indo-US partnership is deemed to help India in becoming a pre-eminent maritime power in the Indian Ocean region. This has expanded India’s role as a net security provider in the Indian Ocean region. In this sense, Indo-US. strategic cooperation and bilateral agreements have granted the former an exceptional strategic role in the latter’s strategic calculus and security interests in the Indian Ocean region. Moreover, the US strongly supports India’s military rise in the India Ocean region as a rightful Chinese competitor. China is not ready to accept the Indian naval exceptionalism. In response to Indian engagement in the Indo-Pacific region, China is increasing its naval presence in the Indian Ocean region. This paper attempts to explore linkages between India’s naval rise in the Indian Ocean region due to Indo-US strategic partnership. In addition, the paper also explores the implications of India’s naval ambitions in the Indian Ocean region and its implications for strategic stability and Pakistan.

However, that US suspension of military assistance during the 1965, 1971, 1975, generated a white spread feeling in Pakistan that the United States was not a reliable ally. The soviet invasion of Afghanistan in 1979 highlighted the common interest of Pakistan and the United States in peace and stability in South Asia. The purpose of this paper is to analyze Pakistan US relationship in historical perspective, highlighting lesson that Pakistan should learn from its past's experiences with the US and recommended a viable strategy for the future

The daybreak of 27th November 2008 observed a chaotic condition in south Mumbai due to the deadly serialized attacks which claimed many lives and hundreds of injuries. The night witnessed an assault on the top community and foreigners. The lethal attack hindered the peace process between India and Pakistan and damaged all efforts that were being made in order to achieve harmonized relations between both states. The Indian authorities raised voice against the terror intentions of Pakistan and symbolized her as the epicenter of terrorism. India blamed Lashkar-e-Tayba for targeting the Indian nationals. The violent approach created trust deficit between the two states which considered as the most serious ongoing problem that confronts Indo-Pak relations

The Loss in Meaning: Influence of Strategy Language’s and Modern Financial Discourse on the Working Concepts in Islamic Banking and Finance
This paper employs Wittgenstein language-games to analyze strategy language used by leaders of Islamic finance industry to envision its future. The analysis infers that the explicit market orientation of strategy language and modern knowledge of finance has redefined various concepts related of Islamic finance at the cost of its original spirit. Political Challenges and Security Issues in FATA and its impact on Economic Development.
This research paper pertains to an in depth and profound analysis of both political reforms and change extended in FATA and build up systematically, it focuses on the historical background of the tribal areas, which has the centuries old customs and tradition. The system of judiciary, political, social, economic is based on these traditions. Efforts has been made to remain focus on the measures if taken, to integrate the tribal belt in Pakistan's mainstream and this research paper also focus on the poor level of political administration, human rights, phenomenon and socio economic developments in this deprived and marginalized area of Pakistan. There is dire need of some major steps which must be initiated by the government of Pakistan on war footing to reform the system of education, health judiciary and other services sector. Tribal belt is far behind the rest of the country in all sectors of development. The advantages of modern politico-administration must also be extended to FATA as in other parts of the country. The areas now forming FATA had seen perhaps more invasion than any other country/area in the world. It hold some of the most chequered and fascinating events of the history.14 Halama
Partnership in War on Terror and Mounting Militant Extremism in Pakistan
Pakistan’s fight against extremism is not a success story, as extremism seems to be on rise leading to militancy, intolerance, ethnic division and sectarianism. This has become a daunting challenge for Pakistani government which has not been very successful in dealing with this challenge which has caused serious security concerns internally as well as externally. Certain decisions of the government have actually added fuel to extremism rather than lessening or controlling it, the decision to become a partner of USA in war on terror has led to immense increase in terrorist activities by the extremist elements, The war on Terror that started in 2001, a decade after the start of War and intense fighting, it is yet to be clearly established that it has helped Pakistan in achieving the objective for which she participated in the War. Pakistan entered as an ally and the frontline state in the name of national interest as determined by the decision makers at that time. It is argued quite forcefully that as terrorism mainly emanated from the religious extremism it was imperative to participate in the War on terror to curb extremism in the society however, no clear evidence is available after a decade of sustained losses of life and limb, property and resources that Pakistan has gained its objective or reached close to it.
Intensive US Engagement for Enhanced Role in South Asia
Since the end of Cold War, US has acquired deeper engagement with South Asia, especially India. Overt leaning of US towards India since 1990’s was not entirely unexpected, India being the largest and most stable country in South Asia has always been more charming to the super power. There had always been potentials for deeper relations both being large democracies and even larger economies. In the New World Order, United States has emerged as the leader and its alignment with any state will definitely make a difference in the concerned region. It seems that United States will be dealing Pakistan and India differently. Interests and objectives of the United States in South Asia region seem to change with changing situations or circumstances. Any visible tilt of the United States in South Asia towards either India or Pakistan will definitely affect the stability of the region. In sum, for US, India is now a partner in strategy and Pakistan a partner in exigency. According to the United States policy of enhanced engagement in South Asia, US will keep a close strategic relationship with India, but at present US also has to ensure an intense and rather longish partnership with Pakistan as well. That certainly carries a promise of a stable South Asia under an enhanced engagement and influence of U.S.
