Tushar Grazing Allotments Collaboration: Final Report, Fishlake National Forest
The Tushar Allotments Collaboration grew out of an appeal of a decision made by the Forest Service to reauthorize grazing on eight allotments within the Tushar Mountains. The appeal was withdrawn, so that issues regarding existing conditions, desired future conditions and appropriate grazing management actions to move from existing toward desired conditions could be explored collaboratively between the Forest Service, grazing permittees, the appellants and other interested stakeholders, with a focus on two representative allotments – the Pine Creek/Sulphurbeds and Ten Mile allotments
Studies of wintertime storms over the Tushar Mountains of Utah: final report to Utah Department of Natural Resources
March 6, 1986.Supercooled liquid water flux over the Tushar Mountains was estimated from three hour averages of the radiometer and rawinsonde observations. The amount of liquid water represented by this flux over the two-month project was 17,000 acre feet, or about 45 percent of the total annual runoff in the Beaver River watershed

Modeling and Analysis of an antagonistically driven robot hand
In DLR, the third generation of an anthropomorphic hand is being developed. The present work focussed on the development of the kinematic and friction model of the finger. A forward kinematic model which deteremines the change in length of the tendons w.r.t to the joints of the finger is derived. Causes for friction in the finger are discussed. Friction models for the motor and the finger are investigated. Determination of motor parameters namely viscous and static friction using least square approximation methods is done. Experiments and simulation results are shown to support the estimated parameters
