The problem of the „male“ language (on works by Miglena Nikolchina and Irena Ivanova)

    No full text
The paper is devoted to the problem of the „male“ language which can be found in the works of two Bulgarian poets – Miglena Nikolchina and Irena Ivanova (better known by her pseudonym Rene Karabaš). The author associates them with the change that happens in literary criticism and the literary production itself after the 1990s. The author considers the synthesis of poetry and prose, poetry and theory as an intertextual „dialogue” through which is possible to analyze the texts of both poets. Thematically, the article focuses on the ways in which the woman gains „a right to have a voice“ rejecting her gender to take up the poet’s word and on how man appears to be a „quotation” in their works

V diplomskem delu smo preučevali trgovsko podjetje in presojali planiranje delovanja in obnašanja v podjetju. V obravnavanem podjetju smo ugotavljali in preučevali planiranje, področja planiranja in planiranje angažiranja. S tem smo podjetju pripomogli k še boljšemu planiranju delovanja in obnašanja ter posledično k boljšemu poslovnemu rezultatu.Planning is a part of a daily life. The same way it is present in a daily life, it is also present in more complex decisions in a company. We apply planning in the company at its formation – establishment, development and growth, operation and behaviour, remediation and even at the dissolution of the company. The lifespan of the company significantly extends with good planning during the business’s existence and development, operation and behaviour, and also prevents the need for the remediation of the company. In this thesis, I studied the trading company and its planning of the operation and behaviour of the company. The trading company is a wholesaler specialized in the bakery, confectionery and catering industry. This company is classified as a small business, according to the Companies Act. In the first part of the thesis, I roughly describe company’s planning and operation, and behaviour in it. In the second part of the thesis, I present the trading company, its vision, mission and primary goals. In the case company, I observed and studied the planning, areas and engagement of planning. I determined advantages and disadvantages and also opportunities, and internal and external threats. The biggest advantage of this company is the quality of the goods they sell and good knowledge of the markets. The biggest threat I was able to determine, was the high concentration of domestic and foreign competitors. Based on the analysis of the trading company, I was able to point out the areas, where planning was not optimised. With this I helped the company to a better planning and behaviour, and consequently to the better business result

Posebni del zajemata analiza okoliških besed (sopojavnic) besede delavnost in raziskovanje paremiološkega gradiva, zbranega v zbirki pregovorov Etbina Bojca. In the first part of the Master\u27s Thesis, a language as a reflection of Slovene culture has been presented. The importance of culture in the language is specifically introduced, especially in the field of phraseology. Taking into account the Slovene studies of modern phraseology, we have presented specific fields of culture which are the most typical in phrasemes, what approaches can we take in researching those fields and what phrasemes are connected with the word working activity. Further in the Master\u27s Thesis the use of the word working activity has been demonstrated in the Gigafida 2.0 and TURK corpora. The word working activity has been placed within the personal characteristics of Slovenes, in the same manner as it was studied by Janek Musek and Anton Trstenjak. The empirical part of the Master\u27s Thesis, based mainly on the comparative methodology, includes research of word formation, morphology and phraseology of the word working activity in the essential Slovene textbooks and Gigafida 2.0 and TURK corpora. A special attention has been given to the analysis of the surrounding words (collocators) of the word working activity and the study of paremiological material, collected in the Collection of Proverbs by Etbin Bojc

Editor as Author; or, on Irena Lukšić’s Editorial Genre

    No full text
While to the reading public Irena Lukšić is surely best known as our principal translator of Russian literature, her decades-long toil in the field of literature extended far beyond translation. She was a prominent scholar of Russian emigre literature, as well as an exceptionally fertile prose writer and, last but not least, an important editor. The world-literature series In the Wake of Classics, which she edited for fifteen years, includes four rather unusual publications of her own, a kind of by-products of her editorial work. The paper will attempt to answer the question to which genre possibly belong the books Idols and Rascals: Famous People in Literary Works (an Essay), Towns Hamlets Castles: a Guide for Literary Tourists, Classics Left to Cats: an Attempt to Read Literary Texts Otherwise and Feasting in the Wake of Classics (a Literary »Cookbook«) and provide an outline of their relation to Irena Lukšić’s other literary interests and accomplishments
