Menulis Sitcom: Mencontohi Pi Mai Pi Mai Tang Tu
Sitcom Pi Mai Pi Mai Tang Tu adalah sejarah dalam dunia penyiaran di Malaysia. Sitcom ini menjadi program televisyen yang bertahan paling lama, bermula tahun 1985 dan berterusan selama hampir 18 tahun. Inilah sejarah yang tercipta oleh dua orang karyawan – Hatta Azad Khan dan Othman Hafsham. Buku Menulis Sitcom – Mencontohi Pi Mai Pi Mai Tang Tu ini ditulis khusus bagi memberikan serba sedikit gambaran bagaimana idea bagi sebuah drama komedi yang asalnya dipentaskan sebagai sebuah produksi teater, boleh dikembangkan menjadi siri televisyen yang diminati ramai. Buku ini turut dilengkapi contoh skrip serta contoh bagaimana menyediakan kertas proposal untuk dihantar kepada penerbit atau stesen televisyen. Kaedah menulis sitcom dimulai dengan mengenali sejarah luar dan dalam negara, mengkaji kelainan sitcom berbanding genre lain, mengenali struktur dan elemen, mencipta watak dan seterusnya memilih tajuk yang sesuai.Buku ini boleh dijadikan panduan yang sangat sesuai dan berguna oleh tenaga pengajar serta pelajar yang mengambil jurusan penulisan skrip di pusat pengajian tinggi atau sesiapa saja yang mempunyai minat dalam penulisan skrip dan mahu mencuba menulis sitcom. Pembaca boleh menjadikan dua buah naskhah daripada Siri Pi Mai Pi Mai Tang Tu - Episod Hangus (Bahagian I dan II) dan Episod Kumbang (Bahagian I dan II) sebagai contoh yang boleh diikuti

<i>Scaphidium ahrensi</i> Tu & Tang, new species (Figs. 1–6) <p> <b>Type material. CHINA: Fujian: Holotype:</b> ♂, glued on a card with labels as follows: “ Kuatun (2300m) 27,40n. Br. 117,40ö. L. J. Klapperich 18.2.1938 (Fukien)” “ Holotype / <i>Scaphidium ahrensi</i> / Tu & Tang ”[red handwritten label] (ZFMK). <b>Paratypes:</b> 1 <b>3</b> 1 <b>♀</b>, same data as for the holotype (SHNU, ZFMK); 1 <b>♀</b>, same data except for 30.5.1938. (ZFMK).</p> <p> <b>Description.</b> BL: 5.5–6.1 mm.</p> <p>Body black and glossy, tibiae slightly lighter, antennal segments I–VI, maxillary palpi and tarsomeres brownish. Frons densely but shallowly punctuate with an impunctate portion on vertex, punctures mostly round and well delimited. Pronotum raised above elytra, with lateral edges slightly sinuate. Antebasal puncture row impressed; disc densely punctuate, punctures round and well delimited, puncture intervals mostly a little smaller than puncture diameters. Elytra with humeral protuberance indistinct, apical portion moderately impressed; discal punctation a little smaller and sparser than that of pronotum, punctures on apical portion a little larger; each elytron with two indistinct discal puncture rows consisting of coarser punctures; basal stria row impressed, with punctures about as coarse as those of pronotal antebasal row; sutural stria puncture row much finer. Prohypomera smooth with few indistinct punctures. Mesanepisterna smooth. Exposed abdominal sternites and tergites with coarse and relatively sparse punctures and densely reticulate microsculpture.</p> <p>Male. Metaventrite impressed in middle, with long semi-erect pubescence. Profemora (Fig. 6) with inner side expanded gradually from base forming an acute angle at basal 3/5, ventral side with tubercles arranged in one row; protibiae (Fig. 6) slightly incurved in lateral view with one indistinct tubercles row on inner side and small subapical angle. Aedeagus (Fig. 3) with sclerotized internal sac (Fig. 4) consisting of x-shaped apical sclerite and two small basal sclerotized rods.</p> <p> <b>Distribution.</b> China (Fujian).</p> <p> <b>Remarks.</b> The new species is related to <i>S. fukiense</i> Pic, 1954 from Fujian, but can be easily distinguished from the latter by the larger size, the black femora (reddish in <i>S. fukiense</i>) and the spiny male profemora. 1. Scaphidium yuzhizhoui Tang, Tu & Li, new species. (Figs. 1 –6, 9, 11) Type material. Holotype: CHINA: Guangdong: Ƌ, glued on a card with labels as follows: “ China, Guangdong Prov., Ruyuan County, Nanling N. R., alt. 1050m, 15.VII. 2012, Lie Ning & Zhi-Zhou Yu leg.” “ Holotype / Scaphidium yuzhizhoui / Tang, Tu & Li”[red handwritten label] (SHNU). Paratypes. 3 33, same data as for the holotype (SHNU); 1 3, Nanling, Pubuqun, VII. 2006, Zi-Chen Wang leg. (SHNU) Description. BL: 8.1–9.2 mm, ED: 0.31–0.34 mm, PL/PW of male: 0.75–0.78. Body black and glossy, mesofemora and metafemora with reddish fascia. Frons densely punctuate, vertex partialy impunctate, punctures mostly elongate and a little confluent. Pronotum raised above elytra, with lateral edges slightly sinuate. Antebasal puncture row impressed; disc densely punctuate, punctures round and well delimited, puncture intervals mostly a little larger than puncture diameters. Elytra with humeral protuberance indistinct, apical portion moderately impressed; discal punctation similar to that of pronotum, punctures on apical portion a little larger; discal puncture row absent; basal stria row impressed, with punctures about as coarse as those of pronotal antebasal row; sutural stria puncture row much finer. Prohypomera smooth with fine and sparse punctures. Mesepisterna smooth with moderately dense, moderately fine and very shallow punctures. Exposed abdominal sternites and tergites with coarse and relatively sparse punctures and densely reticulate microsculpture. Male. Metasternum impressed in middle, with long semi-erect pubescence. Profemora (Fig. 6) with tubercles arranged in three rows on ventral side. Protibiae slender (Fig. 6) with tubercles on inner side and indistinct apical angle (Fig. 9), slightly incurved in lateral view (Fig. 6) and slightly curved outwards at apical third in front view (Fig. 11). Aedeagus with sclerotized plates as in Figs. 3, 4. Female. Unknown. Distribution. China (Guangdong). Remarks. The new species resembles S. grande Gestro, 1880 and both have been collected at the same locality in the Nanling Nature Reserve. Since S. grande is a very variable species, its accurate identification must be based on male sexual characters. The new species can be distinguished from the latter one by protibiae slender with apical angle smaller (protibiae stout with subapical angle larger in S. grande, see Figs 7, 8), median sclerotized plate of aedeagus elongate with anteriolateral projections more developed (median sclerotized plate of aedeagus abbreviated with anteriolateral projections less developed in S. grande). It is also very similar to S. inflexitibiale Tang & Li, 2010, the differences between them listed in the modified key below. Etymology. The species is named in honor of Mr. Zhi-Zhou Yu who collected most specimens of the new species. To accommodate the new species, the key of Scaphidium grande -complex (Tang & LI, 2010) should be modified at the couplet # 4 as follows: 4. [[alternative]]The analysis of Yi-chi-tsung-ming-tang in CE and HPLC
[[abstract]]High-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and capillary electrophoresis (CE) are two well-known techniques in chemical analysis. Both have many separating modes and are used to assay Chinese herbal drugs. In the present study, two analyzing methods are established for assaying the constituents of the Chinese herbal preparation, Yi-chi-tsung-ming-tang. The suitability of the two methods was also evaluated and compared.
Yi-chi-tsung-ming-tang comprises Paeoniae Radix, Astragali Radix, Ginseng Radix, Puerariae Radix, Viticis Fructus, Cimicifugae Rhizoma, Glycyrrhizae Radix and Phellodendri Cortex. In HPLC analysis, eighteen constituents of Yi-chi-tsung-ming-tang, including gallic acid, benzoic acid, oxypaeoniflorin, albiflorin, paeoniflorin, paeonol, formononrtin, ferulic acid, caffeic acid, puerarin, daidzein, berberine, palmatine, jatrorrhizin, glycyrrhizin, 18b-glycyrrhetinic acid and ginsenoside Rb1, were separated in 80 minutes by a Cosmosil 5C18-MS column with a linear gradient elution system containing phosphates and acetonitrile which was detected at 203 nm, 210 nm, and 254 nm. Moreover, the constituents in each component herb and the home-made preparation were investigated herein. The preservation stability of the commercially available Yi-chi-tsung-ming-tang preparations was also evaluated by the developed analysis method.
In CE analysis, the analysis of Yi-chi-tsung-ming-tang was cut into two parts, MEKC and CZE, according to the properties of the constituents In MEKC, two constituents, albiflorin and paeoniflorin, could be separated in 15 minutes, using a buffer system containing anionic surfactants (40 mM SC) and acetonitrile as organic modifier. In CZE, thirteen constituents could be separated in 55 minutes, using a buffer system containing 20 mM borate(pH=9.76). The effects of the analysis parameters were also investigated herein. Moreover, one Chinese herb, Artemisiae Capillaris Herba, was analyzed by an on-line sample stacking CE method, sweeping. Also, the suitability and effects of the method were compared with those of the conventional CE methods.
From the results of the analysis, it is concluded that HPLC and CE possesses their own beneficial effects in terms of the suitability of the system, analyzing time, stability of the base line, and the number of theoretical plates of each compound, respectively. HPLC and CE can complement each other in the analysis of Chinese herbal preparations.
