    The topic is technical analysis, which is widely used in business practice in foreign exchange markets. The aim of this work is a detailed explanation of the strategy of technical analysis with a focus on the application of the indicator Traders Dynamic Index and trend trading. The final chapter uses the theoretical knowledge presented in the work to empirically verify their reliability when applied to the historical exchange rate series with daily and monthly frequency of candle formation. The ultimate goal is to answer the question of whether the strategy is currently usable and leads to the realization of user's goals.Tématem této bakalářské práce je technická analýza, která je široce využívaná v obchodní praxi na devizových trzích. Cílem práce je podrobné vysvětlení komplexní zkoumané strategie technické analýzy se zaměřením na aplikace indikátoru Traders Dynamic Index a trend trading. Závěrečná kapitola využívá teoretických poznatků uvedených v práci k empirickému ověření jejich spolehlivosti při aplikaci na historickou kurzovou řadu s denní a měsíční frekvenci tvoření svíček. Konečným cílem je odpověď na otázku, jestli je strategie v současné době využitelná a vede k realizaci cílů uživatelů
