No full textThe paper pertains to the analysis of a manuscript authored by D.A. Milutin in the first half of the 19th century, regarding the region of Kabarda. This manuscript, hitherto unpublished in academic circles, has been the subject of our examination. Our endeavor was to uncover the utilization of orientalist clichés by the manuscript's author, in order to depict both the geographical delineations of this ethno-political entity and the ethnography, livelihood, societal structure, and customary legal norms of its inhabitants. A remarkable parallel can be observed between certain aspects of the manuscript and the ideas propounded by E. Said in his discourse on European Orientalism. The researcher drew a comparison between the political framework and traditions of the Kabardian people and those prevalent in Europe. Moreover, the researcher romanticized the region's historical past, employing the conceptof "reverse human progress," along with other typical methodologies embraced by Orientalist thinkers of that era. Concomitantly, D.A. Milutin provided detailed descriptions of the political, social, and everyday existence in Kabarda, thereby endowing the manuscript with an intrinsic value as an original historical and cultural resource for contemporary scholars. It is concluded that, similar to numerous analogous texts produced by Orientalist scholars, the significance of D.A. Milutin's man-uscript lies not in its political arguments concerning the military and economic dominion of the Russian Empire over the Caucasian peoples, or the imperative to extend colonial governance to these ethnic territorie

No full textSupersymmetry has proven to be a valuable tool in the study of non-perturbative dynamics in quantum eld theory, gravity and string theory. In this thesis we consider supersymmetric interfaces. Interfaces are defects de ned by spatially changing coupling constants. Interfaces can be used to probe the non-perturbative low energy dynamics of an underlying supersymmetric quantum eld theory. We study interfaces in a set of four-dimensional quantum eld theories with N = 2 supersymmetry known as theories of class S. Using these defects we probe the spin content of the spectrum of quantum states saturating the Bogomolnyi-Prasad-Sommerfeld bound. We also apply supersymmetric defects to the construction of knot and link invariants via quantum eld theory. We associate to a knot - presented as a tangle - an interface de ned by a spatially varying superpotential in a 2d supersymmetric Landau-Ginzburg model. We construct explicitly the Hilbert space of ground states on this interface as the cohomology of a nilpotent supercharge and prove that this Hilbert space is bi-graded by integers and is an invariant of the knot (or link). In explicit examples we show that the corresponding Poincar e polynomial coincides with the Poincar e polynomial of the renowned Khovanov homology that categori es the Jones polynomial.Ph.D.Includes bibliographical referencesby Dmitrii Galakho
Situace na maloobchodním trhu v České republice ve srovnání s Ruskem. Rozdíly, inovativní přístupy
No full textVýzkum byl proveden s cílem popsat a porovnat současnou situaci a trendy digitalizace v České republice a Rusku. Autor narazil na perspektivu propojení digitalizace s ruským a českým maloobchodním trhem zkoumáním TOP-5 maloobchodních gigantů obou zemí, aby odhalil celkový obraz současného maloobchodu a předpověděl budoucí příležitosti. Pokud jde o metody použité ve výzkumu, bylo upřednostněno použití jak kvalitativních, tak kvantitativních metod k odstranění omezení. Pro zdroj kvalitativních dat byl použit již existující přehled literatury, knihy a finanční publikace, které nemohou vyústit v přesné výsledky bez použití zdroje kvantitativních dat, jenž porovnává a analyzuje TOP-5 maloobchodníků z finančního hlediska včetně objemu prodeje, míry růstu, reálného HDP, průměrného koše a dalších ukazatelů. Ve výsledku vyšlo najevo, že Auchan z ruského maloobchodního sektoru a Ahold Group z toho českého byli vybráni jako silní a digitalizovaní špičkoví hráči, když dosáhli relativní výše přes 32,1 mld. EUR a 74,7 mld. 4 EUR. Kromě toho z hlediska roční míry růstu maloobchodního obratu došlo v českém maloobchodním sektoru k rozvoji a digitalizaci více než toho ruského, který dosáhl relativně 4,9% a 2,6%.The research was conducted in order to describe and compare the current situation and digitalization trends in the Czech Republic and Russia. The author ran into the outlook of interconnection of digitalization with Russian and Czech retailing market by examining TOP- 5 retailing giants of both countries in order to reveal the full picture in current retailing and predict future opportunities. Concerning the methods used in the research, there was preferred to use both, qualitative and quantitative methods in order to remove limitations. For the qualitative data source, there was used already existing literature review, books and financial publications which cannot result in precise outcomes without the use of quantitative data source which compared and analyzed TOP-5 retailers from financial perspective including the volume of sales, growth rate, real GDP, average basket, and other indicators. As a result, it was revealed that Auchan from the Russian retailing sector and Ahold Group from Czech retailing sector were chosen as powerful and digitalized top players by hitting over 32.1 EUR bill and 74.7 EUR bill, relatively. In addition, in terms of annual growth rate of retailing turnover, Czech retailing sector resulted in being developed and digitalized that the one of Russia which scored 4.9% and 2.6%, relatively
