The front ovary is on the right, the rear on the left, side of the body and they are reflexed to near the vulva. The eggs are one and one-half times as long as the vulva body-width and fill the body cavity. No full text<p>Teratocephalus terrestris Bütschli, 1873.</p> <p>This species is immediately distinguished by its small size, coarsely striated cuticle and long filiform tail with its arcuate terminus. The head with its cutinous framework is an especially prominent feature.</p> <p>This is one of the most widely distributed species in the western mountains but occurs only in small numbers.</p> <p>Two specimens appeared in this collection.
