Elli Therrien has been a part of this project since it began in the Fall of 2012. She discusses how her interests hadn’t lined up with going into media and communications studies, but as she started working on the project she found she wanted to be involved in the group effort. He was 71. Therrien, who died June 17 from cancer, was born on Nov. 17, 1947, in Chicago, according to his gallery, Gagosian. He moved to Palo Alto at age 5 and attended Palo Alto High School
