No full textMultibeam bathymetry raw data using the ship's own Kongsberg (Simrad) EM 120 multibeam echosounder was recorded during RV MARIA S. MERIAN cruise MSM20/5 en route to the main research working. Data was recorded on 19 days between 2012-04-12 and 2012-05-02. This dataset contains a systematic survey at the Mid-Ocean Ridge in the North Atlantic Ocean. Also, the Fresmen Seamount and Menner Seamount is surveyed. The approximate average depth of the entire dataset is around 4500m. The water depth varies between 2800m and 6400m.
The data are archived at the Federal Maritime and Hydrographic Agency of Germany (Bundesamt für Seeschifffahrt und Hydrographie, BSH) and provided to PANGAEA database for data curation and publication. No ancillary sound velocity profiles (SVP) files from the cruise are archived at the BSH, thus no SVP files are added to this dataset. However, data analysis of the multibeam raw data revealed that SVP has been changed during the survey.
This publication is conducted within the efforts of the German Marine Research Alliance in the core area 'Data management and Digitalization' (Deutsche Allianz Meeresforschung, DAM).
Data are unprocessed and therefore contains incorrect depth measurements (artifacts) without further processing. Note that refraction errors can be expected due to the lack of proper SVP. Overall, it appears that the data quality is rather good since the gridded hillshade data showed relatively few obstacles.

No full textThis is a PDF of a scan of a letter from Lydia Becker (1827-1890) to Rev. Miles Joseph Berkeley (1803-1889) written on 27 June 1870. This letter is mentioned in footnote 12 of Antonovics J, Gibby M, and Hood ME. 2020. John Leigh, Lydia Becker and their shared botanical interests. Archives of Natural History (in press). The original of the letter is in personal possession of Michael Hood, co-author on this paper. Lydia Becker was a botanist and pioneer in the women's suffrage movement, and Miles Berkeley was a leading mycologist best known for his identification of the fungus responsible for potato blight, the cause of the Irish potato famine. In this letter, Becker rebukes Berkeley for describing in an article in Nature the anther-smut disease (Microbotryum) of red campion (Silene dioica) yet failing to cite her as the source of the original study. Ceturtajā nodaļā tiks rakstīts par SIA „Jānis Roze” preču virzīšanas tirgū pielietojamiem veidiem un par uzņēmuma darbību, piektajā daļā tiks sniegti SIA „Jānis Roze” esošo un potenciālo klientu aptaujas rezultāti un SIA „Jānis Roze” sniegto datu analīze, apkopojums un secinājumi.

The author describes this work - the first part - advertising goals, the cost, the second paragraph - promotional nature of the funds, the cost, third part - the public interface, indirect advertising and direct sales performance, marketing personnel management features. The fourth chapter written about SIA "Janis Roze" trade promotion and market applicable types of business activity, in the fifth paragraph provided SIA "Janis Roze" existing and potential customer survey and SIA "Janis Roze" of the data analysis, summary and conclusions.
