An Example of Innovative University Teaching and Learning: the Fashion-Tech Model of Integration
[EN] The aim of the paper is to investigate the relationship between higher education institutions and companies in the field of Fashion-Tech educational system, in order to test the effectiveness of the integration of heterogeneous skills and disciplines. The paper firstly analyses how design, pervaded by the results of technological progress, has become over time an increasingly complex and multidisciplinary field, determining the need and development of new professional figures. Secondly, it focuses on the fashion-tech sector, the resulting area obtained from the intersection of fashion design and digital technologies, highlighting the need for a reviewed educational approach to form hybrid professional figures. To this aim the paper examines data obtained through interviews and desk research conducted within the framework of XXX European project, outlining the state of the art in fashion-tech and investigating the transversal dynamics between the academic world and companies. Next, a case study is reported: an international and multidisciplinary workshop carried out in the field of academic training with the collaboration of a company. What emerged from the experience is that in the Fashion-Tech, the close and continuous relationship with companies acquires a fundamental role.Rossato, B.; Tenuta, L.; Testa, S. (2021).
stata trovata con frequenza elevata all’interno dei boschi igrofili a Fraxinus oxycarpaIn this paper we present preliminary results of a research, whose aim is the realization of a geoferenced map of
distribution of flora in the Castelporziano Reserve. A floristic inventory was carried out on a grid (according to the
standard European method) of 43 squares, each with a surface of about 8 km2. The records included up to date in the
data-bank are 3200 for 533 species, with a mean of 93 species for square.
The maps of distributions of some species show interesting patterns: Asparagus aphyllus, a thermophilous species of
dune habitats, was found with high frequence within hygrophilous woodlands dominated by Fraxinus oxycarpa,
probably in relationship with climatic changes or variations of the water-table; Euphorbia corallioides, endemic and
rare species in Italy, presents in the Castelporziano territory a distribution exclusive of the south sector of the grid.

Jewelry Interactions: from Analog to Digital
Digital technologies and scientific advancements, besides having revolutionized the entire jewelry supply chain, overturning the phases and the roles of the actors involved, have permeated the products themselves, affecting their physical and aesthetic features and the systems of interaction they enable.
This paper aims to investigate the different systems of interactions within the field of jewelry, focusing on the transition from an analog to a digital context.
First, the effects of digital technologies on the supply chains in terms of interaction are briefly described. In particular, the paper finds a possibility to generate an important value for the consumers in open structures, engaging them in co-creating the products along the different phases.
Furthermore, the analysis focuses on the product, describing the evolution of interaction mediated by jewelry conceived as an interface, from analog to digital.
To this end, the paper suggests a classification of the different types of interaction systems enabled by jewelry as a medium: the static linear system (analog jewelry), the dynamic linear system (relational jewelry), the close circuit dynamic system (jewelry made with smart and reactive materials), and the open circuit dynamic system (wearable technologies). The different systems are described in terms of relationships, features and elements of interaction.
The analysis demonstrates how circular open systems represent a turning point for the evolution of body ornaments. This system resulting from new technological and scientific advancements enhances some features that were already intrinsic in the more traditional jewelry systems, such as the relational component it also offers and, other powerful tools to create a one-of-a-kind and made-to-measure experience for the wearer
A Jewelry-Tech Experience: Teaching and Learning Model for Academic Training
The paper aims to describe an innovative teaching and learning process in jewelry-Tech design. First of all, the paper analyzes the contemporary and multidisciplinary context, underlining the growing presence of a close connection between digital technologies and the world of accessory design, particularly jewelry. The need to define learning models that aim to integrate different skills to train new professional figures successfully is outlined in this context. Secondly, the paper presents and examines the case study "Living Jewellery" held at the School of Design of the Politecnico di Milano, an international workshop conducted in academic training in collaboration with the Italian jewelry company Roberto Coin. The results obtained during this experience are presented and underline effective methodologies and critical issues in conducting the workshop
