No full textFacta Universitatis, Series Physical Education and Sport (Facta Univ Phys Educ Sport) is the official international publication of the University of Niš. It publicates modern facts about human movement which are specialy connected with: physical education, sports, sport games, dance, sport coaching, sport training, sport medicine, sport physiology, sport psyhology, sport sociology, sport philosophy, sport history, recreation, fitness, biomechanic, kinesitherapy, health and exercise. The journal publishes original empirical articles, review articles and preliminary research reports contributing to the knowledge about human movement in training and physical exercise. The journal is published three times a year (April, August, December). Empirical article should report original research, presenting all the standard elements of scientific investigation: INTRODUCTION, METHOD (including participants, instruments and procedure), RESULTS, DISCUSSION, CONCLUSION, ACKNOWLEDGMENTS, REFERENCES and LEGENDS (Illustrations Language Article must be in English. Authors from non-English speaking countries are requested to have their text thoroughly checked by a competent person. Articles may be rejected on the grounds of poor English. Revision of the language is the responsibility of the author. Cover page Title page gives details of all authors. The author presents his/her surname, first name, degrees, complete address (also his/her coworkers), telephon number and E-mail. It should contain the English TITLE of manuscript. The corresponding author should be identified (include the telephone and fax numbers, e-mail address). For all co-authors full name, affiliated institution, and postal address must be given. Authors wishing to include figures or text passages that have already been published elsewhere are required to obtain permission from the copyright holder(s) and to include evidence that such permission has been granted when submitting their papers. Any material received without such evidence will be assumed to originate from the authors. The cover page shall includes two statements: "We the undersigned Authors transfer the ownership of copyright to the journal Facta Universitatis, Series Physical Education and Sport, should our work be published. We declare that the article is original, has not been submitted for publication in other journals and has not already been published". "We declare that the research reported in the paper was undertaken in compliance with the Helsinki Declaration of 1975, revised 1983 year." The cover page must be signed personally by coresponding authors. Prepared cover page is available and can be downloaded from the homepage on the Internet. http://facta.junis.ni.ac.rs/pe/cover_fu_pe.doc Second page Provide on a separate page an ABSTRACT which does not exceed 200 words. It should briefly describe respectively the problems being addressed in this study, how the study was performed, the salient results and what the authors conclude from the results. Abstract should be written in English and Serbian (translation will be organised by Editorial Board for non-Serbian speaking authors). An abstract is brief, comprehesive summary of the contens of the article (problem, method, findings, including statistical significant levels, conclusions and implications). Below the abstract: KEY WORDS not more than 5, accurately describing the contens of the manuscript. They should be written in English and Serbian. TEXT Introduction: state the purpose of the paper the reasons for the research and relevant findings of prior researchs. Method section is usually devided into: Subject sample (Participants), Measures (Apparatus or Materials) and Procedures. The procedures (Procedures) should be described in such detail as to enable repetition of the experiment and gathering of comparable data. Any statistical method must be detailed in the subjects and method section, and any not in common use should be described fully or supported by references. Results Limit the number of tables and illustrations to the minimum and use them only as a qualification and support of your statements. Use graphs as an alternative to tables, but do not duplicate the information in tables and graphs. Define the statistical terms, abbreviations and symbols. All given units should be in accordance with the international metric system, use the decimal point. The results should be presented in the text, tables and illustrations in a logical order. Do not repeat the data from the tables or illustrations in the text, present only important findings. Discussion Compare results of the work with previous research. Connect the conclusions with the aims of the work, but avoid statements and conclusions that do not follow from work. Emphasis should be put on new and important aspects of the study and the conclusions that follow. Do not repeat data or other information given in the introduction or results in detail. Succinctly summarize implications of findings as previously discussed. Do not make sweeping statements or conclusions that reach beyond your data. Acknowledgements An acknowledgement section may be presented after the conclusion, if desired. References The references in the text should be cited according to the APA system (see: Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association, 5 th Edition, 2001; see also: http://www.apastyle.org). When an original quotation is used, always state the author, the year and the page of quotation from the given text, and in the reference summary state a full quotation by the source. Reference summary Is always stated at the end of a written task. It only mentions those sources which support the written work and are referred to in the text. Individual quotations in the reference summary are not to be given numbers.
