La Pace sulla scena. Commedia antica e versioni moderne a confronto
Get PDFAristofane trascorre quasi tutta la vita in guerra o sotto assedio, e perora con forza la causa della pace in diverse commedie: tra quelle superstiti Acarnesi, Pace e Lisistrata ricorrono con frequenza in momenti storici turbolenti, in zone di conflitto e di confine. Anche fuori scena sono fonte d’ispirazione per riscritture e allestimenti, pellicole cinematografiche, romanzi, fumetti e altre forme narrative e di finzione. La Pace, oggetto del presente contributo, è protagonista di due allestimenti di successo e per molti aspetti esemplari: Pace! Esorcismo da Aristofane, di Marco Martinelli (2006) e Pace, regia di Daniele Salvo, per la prima volta al teatro greco di Siracusa dal 9 al 23 giugno 2023.The Greek comic author Aristophanes has lived under siege, and war, for a major part of his life. His cry for peace dominates his comedies, and notably three of the surviving ones: Acharnians, Peace, and Lysistrata. Thus, so far, they have been mostly adapted and staged in war zones and conflicts. But they also inspired movies, comics, literature, and fiction. Our focus is Peace, and two case-studies of successful productions: the adaptation written and directed in 2006 by Marco Martinelli, and the latest directed by Daniele Salvo, produced by Inda Foundation, and staged in 2023 for the first time at the Greek theatre of Syracuse (9-23 June)
