Assessment centre
The presented bachelor thesis titled "Assessment Centre" describes possibilities and application continuosly extended method exerted in selection, evaluation and development of the employees. Its main commission is to approach Assessment Centre from the point of view of theoretical observations and recommendations. The thesis is divided into six thematic chapters that deal both with preparation and especially evaluation connected with outputs. Section of the one of the chapters is enlistment of this sampling and development method into the whole complex of activities alleged in ordinary personal practice by many companies in the Czech Republic. Beyond the method itself the author adverts the process of acquisition and selection of the employees on the basis of other alleged methods and compares their concrete contribution and specificity. There is devoted special focus to the demands technically, organizationally and first personally to assure the actions held in order to select or evaluate every single participant. In the fourth chapter there is described the producing process of the model situations and practices in the Winterthur CR, financial institution. Analysis of Application of the Age-Management Concept in Non-Profit Organizations Engaging in the Protection of Human Rights
The goal of the thesis is to analyse the possibilities to apply the concept of age management within human-rights focused non-profit organizations in the context of risk factors of the age groups youth, middle age, old age, especially connected to their actual situation on the labour market. Author analyses the possibilities to react on such risks with age management on public, organizational and individual level and explains the connection with key problematics, such as active ageing. Own qualitative research is focusing on how managers of selected organizations approach the areas, which are key in terms of the possibilities to adapt the principles of age management. Bildung - History and Perspectives
This diploma thesis deals with topic of Bildung as tradition of ideas, it's predecessors and followers. In first part thesis provide terminological background to correctly grasp the wide of term Bildung. This is because the term is handed differently by different thinkers. The second part concentrates on genesis and evolution of tradition of Bildung. This part starts with J. A. Comenius and his humanist opinions about nature of world, continues with I. Kant and his ethical and pedagogical ideas to W. von Humboldt and J. H. Newman. These two thinkers are presented as two main figures of Bildung tradition in nineteenth century. Third part is concerned about shifts and changes that terms knowledge and education underwent in twentieth century. The third part deals with theories of T. W. Adorno and K. P. Liessmann which are built around topic of crisis of knowledge in contemporary world
Performance management
The bachelor thesis " Performance Management " deals with the training and the development of human resources, their motivation, assessment and other factors influencing performance management . The first chapter lists the main aspects of performance management in relation to human resources. The second and the third chapters are devoted to the training and motivation. They give a detailed description of the aspects of the factors which are nowadays the most important for the development of the organisation. The fourth chapter refers to the HR assessment, still not so common, i.e. labour peformance, labour behaviour and also the possible contingencies. It points out all the advantages and assets of systematic performance appraisal for the organisation. It also stresses and analyses the preparation stage as a necessary prerequisite for successful introduction of the assessment of employees. The chapter includes the selection of techniques, methods and criteria which can be applied to the assessment. The conclusion of this part describes the steps (procedures) necessary for successful implementation of this system. In the fifth chapter the author pays her attention to the strategy of enumeration of employees as a very important aspect in the performance management.
