T&T Clark Companion to the Dead Sea Scrolls
This is an Accepted Manuscript of a book chapter published by Bloomsbury Academic in T&T Clark Companion to the Dead Sea Scrolls on 20th September 2018, available online: https://www.bloomsbury.com/uk/tt-clark-companion-to-the-dead-sea-scrolls-9780567352057/For more than two-thirds of a century, the Dead Sea Scrolls have left a trail of intrigue and controversy in their wake. They have had an immeasurable impact, not only within the realms of academia and scholarship, but also upon the wider world, thanks to the widespread permeation of the scrolls into popular culture. On the one hand, they have provided scholars with a previously unimaginable wealth of textual material from the Second Temple period (shedding light, for instance, on the literature and social, political and religious world of the intertestamental era, as well as the transmission history of the scriptural texts), while on the other, the infamy resulting from years of restricted access and the consequent perceived secrecy surrounding their content has made them attractive to a fascinated public, for whom ‘the Dead Sea Scrolls’ constitutes ‘a cultural “buzz-phrase” signifying mystery, conspiracy, and ancient or hidden knowledge’ (Collins, 2011, p. 227). How have the Dead Sea Scrolls come to occupy this conceptual space in the public consciousness, and how might we begin to examine and explain the impact they continue to have upon both the academic and popular spheres

T&T Clark handbook of Christian prayer
"The essays collected in this volume provide a resource for thinking theologically about the practice of Christian prayer. In the first of four parts, the volume begins by reaching back to the biblical foundations of prayer. Then, each of the chapters in the second part investigates a classical Christian doctrine – including God, creation, Christology, pneumatology, providence and eschatology – from the perspective of prayer. The chapters in the third part explore the writings of some of the great theorizers of prayer in the history of the Christian tradition. The final part gathers a set of creative and critical conversations on prayer responding to a variety of contemporary issues. Overall, the T&T Clark Handbook of Christian Prayer articulates a theologically expansive account of prayer – one that is deeply biblical, energetically doctrinal, historically rooted, and relevant to a whole host of critical questions and concerns facing the world today.

Structural and vibrational analyses of t,C,t,T,t,T,t-deca-1,3,5,7,9- pentaene
An analysis of the results of the fluorescence spectrum investigation of all-trans-deca-1,3,5,7,9-pentaene and t,C,t,T,t,T,t-deca-1,3,5,7,9-pentaene in an n-decane matrix [B.E. Kohler, V. Terpougov, J. Chem. Phys. 108 (1998) 9586-9593] has been performed using scaled quantum mechanical force field (SQM-FF) methodology at the HF/6-31G level. The measured vibronic wavenumbers were assigned taking into account the results of quantum-chemical predictions of the vibrational spectra for all-trans-deca-1,3,5,7,9-pentaene and t,C,t,T,t,T,t-deca-1,3,5,7,9-pentaene. Results from additional calculations at the MP2(FC)/aug-cc-pVDZ and B3LYP/6-311++G(d,p) levels are also reported. © 2012 Elsevier B.V.SCOPUS: ar.jinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishe
