Toxicity of Delphinium brunonianum Royle alkaloids against the adults of Diaphorina citri and its mechanism study in insect SF9 cell line
Globally, the agriculture sector massively relies on synthetic chemical pesticides for pest management, and the extensive use of these synthetic chemicals poses a severe threat to humans and the environment. Therefore, due to their environmental friendliness, new crop protection strategies, including botanical pesticides, have gained attention over the past decades. In the Skardu Baltistan, Pakistan, annually, tons of Delphinium brunonianum are wasted due to not being used economically. Therefore, the current study aims to investigate the toxicity of D. brunonianum as a novel pesticide for managing Diaphorina citri, one of the world’s most destructive pests of citrus species. From the most active fraction of D. brunonianum that showed toxicity against D. citri, we have isolated and identified four alkaloids: delpheline, delbrunine, eldeline, and delsoline. The results indicated that D. brunonianum alkaloid extract (DBAE) and its isolated alkaloids caused significant acute mortalities against D. citri in topical and residual contact methods. However, the toxicity of DBAE was stronger than the isolated alkaloids with LD50 and LC50 values of 0.26 μg/insect and 76.56 μg/mL. Among the isolated alkaloids, eldeline, delsoline, and delbrunine were toxic, with LD50 values of 0.48, 0.52, and 0.97 μg/insect applied topically and LC50 values of 96.72, 98.43, and 124.57 μg/mL in residual contact method. Furthermore, to understand the toxicity mechanism of DBAE and its isolated alkaloids, the ovarian cell line of Spodoptera frugiperda (SF9) was used as a model. The result of cell viability, DNA fragmentation, and morphological changes in treated SF9 cells indicated that DBAE and its isolated alkaloids inhibit cell proliferation and induced apoptosis and thus exert insecticidal effects. Therefore, it has been concluded that DBAE and its isolated alkaloids have the potential to be developed as a novel alternative to synthetic insecticides for the management of D. citri
A Stylistic Review of Maulana Muhammad Hussain Azad's Essay "Sair-e-Zindagi": مولانا محمد حسین آزاد کے مضمون سیر زندگی کا اسلوبیاتی جائزہ
Maulana Muhammad Hussain Azad’s essay "Sair-e-Zindagi" describes life and its different stages. The essay starts with the words of a sage that when a person comes into the world, he is completely ignorant and innocent. Then there is childhood, which he finds in the form of a beautiful and carefree life, and then there is youth, which is a beautiful, exciting and colorful period of life, and it is full of emotions and desires. After that, gradually the organs of a person start to decay and he moves from youth to old age. By going to old age, he becomes greedier about life. A critical review of the said essay is presented in this article highlighting the characteristics pertaining to style and diction of the writer.

Child Health and Poverty in Pakistan
This study examines the health status of Pakistani children using two important indicators, morbidity and malnutrition measured by weight-for-age and height-for-age. The demand for medical services has also been determined. The main data source used in this study is the 2000-01 Pakistan Social-Economic Survey (PSES), which provides sufficient information on child health and poverty. Findings of the study show that both exclusive breastfeeding during the first 4-5 months of life and immunisation can help control the occurrence of illness significantly among the young children (0-5 months). These also reinforce the role of mother’s education in the production of child health (nutritional status). This role of mother’s education is found to be more pronounced in the poor families than in the non-poor families. The rise in poverty since the mid-1990s has adversely influenced the nutritional status of children. The basic issue is about how to reduce the household food insecurity. The benefits of recent high GDP growth may be transferred to the poor through employment generation, which has been slow in the past decade. Real incomes of the poor and the vulnerable segments of the population may also be protected against the rise in prices of essential food items. At present, the health and nutrition sector is getting only 0.7 percent of the GDP. Health care facilities in the country are curative in nature, and are heavily skewed in favour of the diagnostic and treatment side, not preventive healthcare aspects. More resources should be made available for preventive healthcare aspects. Coverage of child immunisation should be enhanced, and the provision of safe drinkingwater may be given high priority in the social sector policies.Medical, Child Health
Implications of deep learning for the automation of design patterns organization
Though like other domains such as email filtering, web page classification, sentiment analysis, and author identification, the researchers have employed the text categorization approach to automate organization and selection of design patterns. However, there is a need to bridge the gap between the semantic relationship between design patterns (i.e. Documents) and the features which are used for the organization of design patterns. In this study, we propose an approach by leveraging a powerful deep learning algorithm named Deep Belief Network (DBN) which learns on the semantic representation of documents formulated in the form of feature vectors. We performed a case study in the context of a text categorization based automated system used for the classification and selection of software design patterns. In the case study, we focused on two main research objectives: 1) to empirically investigate the effect of feature sets constructed through the global filter-based feature selection methods besides the proposed approach, and 2) to evaluate the significant improvement in the classification decision (i.e. Pattern organization) of classifiers using the proposed approach. The adjustment of DBN parameters such as a number of hidden layers, nodes and iteration can aid a developer to construct a more illustrative feature set. The experimental promising results suggest the significance of the proposed approach to construct a more representative feature set and improve the classifier's performance in terms of organization of design patterns
Paradox of Credibility
In an information transmission situation, a senders concern for its credibility could endow itself with an invisible power to control the detected. In this case, the sender can achieve its favored outcome without losing its credibility, which stays true even when the sender and the receiver have contradictory preferences. Therefore, the senders concern for its credibility could result in less truthful signals from the sender and worse payoffs to the receiver. This is the paradox of credibility. This paper models this paradoxical role of the senders credibility concern.Anti-Coordination Game, Credibility, Information Transmission, Hawk-Dove Game, Paradox
