    Artikel ini hendak menjawab tantangan perubahan zaman yang sedang terjadi. Pergerakan Mahasiswa Islam Indonesia (PMII) merupakan organisasi pengkaderan yang secara khusus memiliki tujuan untuk menjaga kehidupan berbangsa dan bernegara serta berbasis pesantren sebagai representasi pembaharuan yang kini terjadi. Yang mengasimilasikan sebuah paradigma PMII dengan kultur pesantren. Metode dan pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kualtitaif deskriptif. Hasil dari penelitian ini bahwa dalam aktivitasnya paradigma yang dipakai oleh PMII IAI Syarifuddin sesuai dengan kultur pesantren. Hal ini menjadikan PMII sebagai organisasi yang mampu berkembang secara kuantitas dan kualitasnya. Sistem kaderisasi yang dipakai tidak terlepas dari kultur pesantren, karena adanya pesantren menjadi representasi adanya perguruan tinggi Institut Agama Islam Syarifuddin

    This study aims to determine the influence of emotional intelligence and burnout on the Employee performance of Institut Agama Islam Syarifuddin (Syarifuddin Islamic Institute),  Wonorejo, Lumajang. The instrument used in this study is the Performance approach based on Sabine Sonnentag’s theory (2010); the applied scale-based emotional intelligence is one that developed by Daniel Goleman (2003) and the employed scale of burnout is a scale formulated by Maslach and Jackson (1982).     Riset ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana manajemen pengelolaan koperasi Pondok Pesantren Syarifuddin Wonorejo Lumajang, untuk mengetahui strategi pengembangannya di era Industri 4.0. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif-deskriptif, dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara mendalam, observasi, dokumentasi. Adapun kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah koperasi Pondok Pesantren Syarifuddin Wonorejo Lumajang telah menggunakan fungsi manajemen dengan baik, mulai dari perencanaan, pengorganisasian, penggerak atau pengimplementasian, dan juga pengawasan. Menggunakan perencanaan dalam setiap kegiatan yang ingin dicapai, melakukan pengorganisasian untuk pembagian kerja dan pengimplementasian dalam menerapkan rencana serta melakukan pengawasan untuk menilai sejauh mana rencana tersebut berjalan. Dengan menggunakan strategi modern koperasi Pondok Pesantren Syarifuddin telah dipastikan tidak tergilas oleh perkembangan zaman. Sehingga Koperasi Pondok Pesantren Syarifuddin Wonorejo Lumajang dapat berkembang dan maju. Salah satu faktor untama dari berkembangnya koperasi ini yaitu dengan mendatangkan seorang konsultan yang dapat memberikan arahan untuk perkembangan dan kemajuan dari koperasi pondok pesantren syarifuddin ini

    This study discusses intercultural communication that occurs at the Kyai Syarifuddin Islamic Boarding School. Islamic boarding schools are places where students stay or can be said where students learn the Koran. They come from various backgrounds. The phenomenon of intercultural communication in Islamic boarding schools is very interesting to discuss. The purpose of this study is to explain how the patterns, behaviors, and barriers to intercultural communication in Islamic boarding schools. This research uses a qualitative method, with a case study approach. The research location is the Kyai Syarifuddin Islamic Boarding School, Wonorejo Lumajang. This study collects data by means of field observations. In addition, in-depth interviews were also conducted with the administrators and several male students from different origins. Data analysis is done by reducing, presenting, and formulating conclusions. The results of this study students experience a reduction in uncertainty in several ways that are practiced in Islamic boarding schools which include, students maintain ethics in communicating behavior, second; the pattern of communication between individuals is communication with intimacy by using the Indonesian language which occurs in the third; The most prominent obstacle in the communication process is language.     Pengaruh Metode Sorogan terhadap Motivasi Belajar Santri di Kelas Musyawarah Pondok Pesantren Kyai Syarifuddin Wonorejo Lumajang

    Metode sorogan yang biasa disebut dengan pengajaran individual ini memberikan kebebasan kepada santri untuk menentukan bidang dan tingkat kesulitan kitab yang dipelajarinya serta mengatur intensitas dan daya serap dan memotivasinya sendiri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana motivasi belajar santri, adakah pengaruh metode sorogan terhadap motivasi belajar santri dan seberapa pengaruh metode sorogan terhadap motivasi belajar santri di kelas musyawarah A pondok pesantren Kiyai Syarifuddin Wonorejo Lumajang. Dengan pendekatan metode penelitian kuantitatif. Hasil riset menunjukkan bahwa dari hasil uji kolerasi skor T bahwasanya motivasi belajar santri di kelas musyawah A terbagi menjadi tiga tingkatan yaitu, 8 santri mempunyai motivasi sangat tinggi,2 santri mempunyai motivasi tinggi dan 20 santri mempunyai motivasi sedanga. Untuk klasifikasi motivasi rendah dan sangat rendah santri di kelas musyawarah A tidak ada.kemudian untuk hasil uji korelasi Product Moment skor signifikansinya sebesar 0,000 lebih kecil daripada 0,05 artinya ada pengaruh antara metode sorogan terhadap motivasi belajar santri pondok pesantren Kyai Syarifuddin di kelas musyawarah A

    Establishing a Literacy Tradition in Pesantren through Group Counseling at Pesantren Kyai Syarifuddin Lumajang

    Pesantren Kyai Syarifuddin faces a significant challenge in cultivating reading interest among its students (santri), particularly those who previously showed little enthusiasm for reading. As a response, the institution has implemented group counseling services that provide a dynamic space for discussion and experience-sharing among santri. This study aims to analyze the implementation of group counseling in enhancing students' reading interest and to identify both the supporting and inhibiting factors in its application. The research adopts a qualitative approach, utilizing observation, interviews, and documentation as data collection techniques. The findings reveal that group counseling is effective in fostering reading interest among santri. Key supporting factors include student discipline, encouragement from counselors, and the students’ intrinsic motivation to learn. However, several inhibiting factors were also identified, such as limited participation from musyrifin (dorm supervisors), an unsupportive environmental context, and negative peer influence. The study concludes that group counseling plays a pivotal role in establishing a literacy tradition within Pesantren Kyai Syarifuddin and contributes significantly to enhancing students’ reading engagement. Nevertheless, to achieve optimal outcomes, it is essential to strengthen the active involvement of musyrifin and improve environmental conditions that support literacy development

    The objectives of this study are: 1. To determine the influence of leadership on work discipline on Islamic institutions Syarifuddin Wonorejo Lumajang; 2. To find out the influence of Work Discipline Motivation on Islamic Religious Institutions Syarifuddin Wonorejo Lumajang; 3. To determine the effect of Work Discipline on Employee Performance at Syarifuddin Wonorejo Lumajang Islamic Institute; 4. To determine the influence of leadership on employee performance at Syarifuddin Wonorejo Lumajang Islamic Institute; 5. To find out the effect of the Work Discipline Motivation on Syarifuddin Wonorejo Lumajang Islamic Institute. In this study, the authors used quantitative research. The population in this study by census technique is to take all employees at the Syarifuddin Wonorejo Lumajang Islamic Institute, totaling 50 (fifty) employees. By using Structural Equation Modeling Analysis (SEM), the results show that there is a significant influence between Leadership on Work Discipline, There is no significant influence between Motivation on Work Discipline, There is a significant influence between work discipline on employee performance, there is a significant influence between leadership on Employee Performance, there was no significant influence between work motivation and employee performance at the Syarifudin Wonorejo Lumajang Islamic Institute.     Islamic Values and Da'wah-Based Human Resource Development Strategy Through Syarifuddin Outbound And Leadership Development (SOLID)

    This study aims to identify and analyze Islamic values and Da’wah-based human resource development strategies implemented by Syarifuddin Outbound and Leadership Development (SOLID) in Lumajang district. SOLID, as a human resource development organization, focuses on improving individual capacity through outbound activities, skills training, and leadership seminars, with an approach that instills Islamic moral and spiritual values. Most importantly, the existence of SOLID is also a form of Islamic propagation or preaching, which shows that Muslims are also capable of innovating in the field of human resource development. This research uses a case study method with a descriptive qualitative approach, utilizing data from in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation analysis to understand the pattern of character and skills development applied. The findings show that SOLID successfully integrates values such as honesty, responsibility, and fairness in each of its activities, which not only improves participants' technical competencies, but also shapes the character of ethical and Islamic leadership. This strategy contributes to the development of human resources who not only excel professionally but also have a solid moral foundation. The results of this study are expected to be a reference for HR development institutions that want to integrate Islamic values in their training programs

    Ustadz pesantren memainkan peran yang sangat penting, mempengaruhi kualitas pembelajaran, karena semakin tinggi kualifikasi dan kemampuan ustadz yang bertanggung jawab untuk pendidikan anak-anak dan ustadz yang matang, semakin tinggi kualitas pembelajaran. Tujuan artikel ini adalah untuk mengetahui peranan guru dalam meningkatkan minat belajar santri dan faktor-faktornya. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian study kasus dan metode pengumpulan data dengan cara observasi, wawancara, serta dokumentasi. Kesimpulan dari artikel ini adalah peranan guru pesantren dalam meningkatkan minat belajar santri terhadap kitab kuning sangat banyak di antaranya sebagai ustadz di dalam kelas, selain itu guru pesantren juga menjadi pengajar atau tarbiyah (pendidik) baik di dalam kelas, dengan menggunakan metode, kamus-kamus serta motivasi bagi santri. hal ini dapat di ketahui dari semua kegiatan pondok pesantren yang semuanya telah di atur oleh para pengurusnya. Ada beberapa faktor yang mempengaruhinya dalam proses pembelajaran diantaranya: faktor pendukung, antara lain adanya kepengurusan yang membantu mengatur kegiatan santri. Juga adanya fasilitas yang mendukung seperti perpustakaan dll. Namun juga ada beberapa penghambatnya seperti santri yang kecapekan karena sudah di gembleng seharian, tidak adanya pemghargaan bagi santri yang berprestasi di kelas

    Recent trends in the financial sector and services increasingly emphasize the importance of financial literacy. The 2019 National Survey of Financial Literacy and Inclusion (SNLIK) showed a financial literacy index of 38.03% and a financial inclusion index of 76.19%. This shows that Indonesian society in general does not yet properly understand the characteristics of various financial products and services offered by formal financial service institutions, even though financial literacy is an important skill in the context of community empowerment, individual welfare, consumer protection and increasing financial inclusion. Apart from financial literacy which must be improved, people's lifestyles also need to be known, because lifestyles related to money will influence a person's economic behavior. Economic behavior is also greatly influenced by a person's level of faith. The aim of this research is: to explore the influence of sharia financial literacy of Kyai Syarifuddin Foundation employees on their interest in using financial institutions. Sharia. to explore the influence between the lifestyle of Kyai Syarifuddin Foundation employees on their interest in using Sharia Financial Institutions. To explore the influence between the religiosity of Kyai Syarifuddin Foundation employees on their interest in using Sharia Financial Institutions. This research uses quantitative methods. Data collection techniques use documentation and questionnaires. The data analysis uses Multiple Linear Regression. The conclusion of this research: There is a partial influence by the Islamic financial literacy variable on interest in using Sharia Financial Institutions. There is a partial influence by lifestyle variables on interest in using Sharia Financial Institutions. There is no partial influence of the religiosity variable on interest in using Sharia Financial Institutions
