This design project is a heritage project combined with inclusive design. The buildings are preserved as much as possible but also listen to the requirements of the future functions. Inclusive design is applied by making the buildings easily accessible to everyone and to alse triggering other senses besides the eyes.HembrugArchitecture, Urbanism and Building Sciences | Heritage & Architectur

Analiza cluster la soiurile de viță de vie provenite din Coarnă Neagră

The Coarnă neagră grapevine variety was used as maternal genitor in the creation of some new grapevine varieties. Of these varieties, the author have chosen Coarnă neagră selecționată, Azur, Milcov, Gelu, Ozana and Mara with which, on the basis of Cluster analysis will determine the phenotypical similarity among the Coarnă neagră varieties genitor and its descendants, with a view to establish the polyphyletic groupings among the biological material under analysis

Particularities of the communicative network within major semiosic non-verbal constructions

Specialized literature differentiates a wide variety of communication forms, based on the diversity of their criteria of classification. Starting from the statement that biosemiotics - a relatively new science situated between biology and semiotics that studies the prelinguistic meaning-making, communication, production and interpretation of signs and codes in the biological realm - the author, using a biosemiotic approach, aims to point out the complexity of the communicative network in the garden space, which is considered by biosemioticians as major semiosic non-verbal construction, representing a place of convergence between semiosis, that is any form of activity, conduct, or process of communication that involves signs, and which are present within plant kingdom and human intentional activities as well. Communicative processes of the garden are performed by a wide range of mechanisms and signs: iconic, indexical, conventional/symbolic or artefacts and the constitutive elements of any garden – be they natural or artificial, are involved more or less in this communicative network. Thus, we may differentiate two main levels in the communication precesses, starting from biological communication up to cultural symbolism. The author comes to the conclusion that the garden, being a cultural phenomenon designed by humans to induce certain feelings, is suited for an interdisciplinary research and a combined semiotic approach, the communicative network within major semiosic nonverbal constructions being very complex

    Spaţiul nevoilor umane

Considering man the centre of the universe, the only reference system, all aspects of life grows with it, nothing is static. Starting from this premise the study aims to answer this question: What should we consider the act of conception of space given the characteristics of perception? The study argument is constructed mainly from a psychological point of view through perception characteristics and its affective factors, and never the less through the hierarchical model of human needs that Maslow developed. The scientific literature examines the qualities of space that make it close to the individual and the space features compliant with the pyramid of human needs. These can be summarized in five major generic categories image, readability, mobility, adaptability, and complexity. By joining and combining studies underpinning this paper the author seeks to develop a set of steps necessary in the conception act

Aprecieri privind identitatea spațiului între concepție și percepție

In this paper the author studies the scientific literature in order to clarify the terms of design and perception in relation to the identity of space. The scientific literature highlights four theoretical directions on the relationship between designs – perceptions – the identity of space. For example, the identity of space is a function of urban – architectural reality, of sentimental - emotional reality and a variation of determinants. In this regard the variation of determinants is a function connected with the mass of receptors (residents, tourists, non-tourists, professionals etc.) and with the mass of transmitters (buildings, streets, urban furniture, green spaces, billboards etc.). The authors appreciate that people give form to the environment as the environment forms people, stressing the interdependence of the ways and their living environment.Adding the analysis it’s determined that the individual has a certain model after which operates in urban environments (mental maps), there is a variation of the determinants that conditions his perception, certain elements that make him close to the environment (territoriality), meanings are assigned to the space that surrounds him and is judged by peers according to the environment in which he lives. The sum does not follow a set of rules, laws and general principles of perception that leads to good urban design of urban – architectural reality, both contributing to the clarity of the identity of a space

The interest for the cultivation of the rose in field has increased in the last years, but the various ecopedological conditions existing on the Romanian territory impose the necessity of some studies regarding the behavior of the different varieties at these conditions. The paper aims to evaluate the behavior of four new varieties of roses from the group Tea hybrida (‘Artemis’, ‘Alex Dima’, ‘Catrina’ and ‘Cristinica’, varieties belonging to the author and approved in 2018 and 2019), in the cultivation conditions in the SE area of Romania, respectively Vânători village, Galati county. The study included the evaluation of the decorative value of the plants based on the morphometric determinations performed during the vegetation period and the rating of the main characters according to the evaluation method proposed by Ştefan Wagner. By using the method of assessing morphological characteristics, a method based on the assessment criteria used by the American Rose Society for the registration of new rose varieties, the highest score was recorded by the variety ‘Alex Dima’ (84 points) and the lowest score by the variety ‘Cristinica’ (82 points)

Aspects regarding the operation of some pulsators for milking equipments

Mechanical milking can only be done using specific milking systems. The pulsators are components of the milking machines. These components make it possible to obtain a certain working frequency of the milking cup and also make it possible to obtain a certain ratio between the milk extraction phase and the massage phase during operation. The two mentioned parameters influence the milking time. Given the importance of pulsators for mechanical milking, this paper analyzes the operation of two types of pulsators: a BRK pneumatic pulsator and a prototype electromagnetic pulsator, design by author. Both types of pulsators are equipped with drawer type working elements. The electromagnetic pulsator was set for the operating mode in which the extraction time is longer than the massage time (3: 1 ratio). For both types of pulsators, the operating frequencies and the ratio between the extraction time and the massage time were determined on the basis of a number of vacuum-time diagrams. The value of the vacuum at the level of the milking cup was -42kPa. Following the tests, it was observed that both the pneumatic pulsator and the electromagnetic pulsator fall within the normal operating limits in terms of pulsation frequency. Regarding the work phases ratio at the prototype pulsator there is a bigger difference between its theoretical value and the real one than at the pneumatic pulsator. This difference can be corrected from the electronic control device of this pulsator
