Studies on Phytochemical investigation of Medicinal Plant Mesua Ferrea
No full textAbstract: The methanolic extracts of leaves and flowers of Mesua Ferrea have exhibited significant broad spectrum antimicrobial activity. Further work is being carried out to isolate and identify the active constituents of the plant responsible for antimicrobial activity. The purpose of our research was methanolic extract of the plant was qualitatively investigated for phytochemicals using standard procedures which revealed the presence of various important bioactive chemical entities.

STUDIES ON PHYTOCHEMISTRY, ANTI-CANCER PROPERTIES OF BETULA UTILIS
No full textAbstract: Betula is a versatile plant with several applications. D. Don (family Betulaceae) is a long-lived tree that has been known in Sanskrit for about 400 years as Himalayan birch, bhojpatra, or Bhurja. Its usefulness as a therapeutic plant is well acknowledged. Birch bark has recently been the topic of scientific study and industry given the presence contains triterpenoids including such betulinic acid as well as oleanolic acid, that are well for their anticancer actions. A new anticancer medication, betulinic acid promotes apoptosis in the cancer cells. Therefore, It was unique from other cancer treatments. A number of B. utilis species have been reported to contain phenolics as well as flavonoids. Suitable investigations were carried out to assess phytochemicals qualitatively using various solvents, as well as anticancer activities utilising the SRB test.

Author Assertion of furtive Write Print Using Character n-Grams
No full textThe exceptionality of shape and style of authors can be used for author's identification. The goalmouth of authorship attribution is to identify a set of features that remain relatively constant among a number of writings by a particular author. This paper deals with text author identification problem using character n-grams. However, the commonly usage is total n-gram for identification purpose but we consider all types of n-grams e.g. initial, medial, final and total bi.grams and tri.grams. Experiments show that authors profiles generated with initial bi.grams and initial tri.grams are effective in identifying texts authors in comparison with other n-gram profiles. The results disclosed in this paper leads to approximate 100% accuracy in identifying the author from unknown text

Obstetric risk and obstetric care in central India
No full text This paper focuses on the obstetric risk and obstetric care in the Hindi-speaking belt of the country, i.e. central India. Central India accounts for nearly half the population of the Republic of India. In terms of social and economic development, Central India lags far behind the rest of India. The health and development scenario in central India is not only associated with the prevailing poverty conditions of the population but also with an orthodox society characterised by a strong caste and kinship structure. Maternal mortality ratio and the lifetime risk of a maternal death are the two indicators commonly used to measure the obstetric risk in women. The paper concludes that maternal mortality as well as lifetime risk of maternal death in central India is well above the national average. Thus, the findings imply that this part of the country shares the maximum burden of reproduction-related morbidity and mortality of women. Therefore, this also implies that reduction in maternal mortality and lifetime risk of maternal death in India as a whole depends largely upon the reduction in maternal mortality and lifetime risk of a maternal death in central India. The author suggests that by universalising the availability of obstetric care services, at the level of community at an affordable cost, may be a feasible strategy of addressing the obstetric care needs of the people. </jats:p
