Stratton, who visited Eastern on September 18, 1958 to participate in the dedication of five new campus buildings and to attend the centennial reenactment of the Lincoln-Douglas Debate in Charleston. The buildings dedicated were Buzzard Laboratory School, the Student Union, and three women\u27s residence halls.
