No full textThis diploma thesis deals with a comparison of works of German and Czech fairy tale authors. The two cultures are represented by the Brothers Grimm and by K. J. Erben. Fairy tales of these authors are analysed from an intercultural point of view. Since each culture has different features, fairy tales of these cultures are written in a different form, as well. The theoretical part of the thesis is based on expert literature on intercultural communication and on the topic of fairy tales. Further sources include literature on the Brothers Grimm and on K. J. Erben. In the practical part, five fairy tales of the Brothers Grimm and five fairy tales of K. J. Erben are analysed and compared. This analysis and comparison represent the core of this thesis, with four different fairy tales chosen of each author and one fairy tale describing the same story

No full textTato bakalářská práce se věnuje poetice prostoru a času v pohádkách Karla Jaromíra Erbena. Je rozdělena na dvě části - teoretickou a praktickou část.
První se zabývá obecně pohádkami, v první řadě vymezením tohoto pojmu, vlivem pohádek na děti, vývojem a funkcí pohádky. Poslední kapitola v této části se blíže věnuje pohádce lidové. Následuje představení klíčového autora v této práci, kterým je Karel Jaromír Erben.
V praktické části je proveden rozbor a analýza textu s interpretací vybraných pohádek nejen obecně, ale především z hlediska problematiky času a prostoru.This thesis is devoted to the poetics of space and time in fairy tales by Karel Jaromír Erben. It is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical part.
The first deals with general fairy tales, primarily definition of this term, due to fairy tales to children development and function of fairy tales. The last chapter in this section is given over to folk tale. Following presentation of a key author of this work, which is Karel Jaromír Erben.

Focusing on metaphor usage and embedded layers of meaning, the study examines identity representation in Sterne erben, Sterne färben. Meine Ankunft in Wörtern and Das Wasser unserer Träume. The study strives to uncover the author’s use of language as a tool for identity construction while generating metaphoric alternatives to reality.Dieser Aufsatz befasst sich mit dem komplexen Zusammenspiel zwischen Sprache und Identität in zwei Werken der deutschsprachigen interkulturellen Autorin Marica Bodrožić. Mit einem Fokus auf Metapherngebrauch und eingebettete Bedeutungsebenen untersucht der Aufsatz die Identitätsreflexion sowie die Wirklichkeitsentwürfe in Sterne erben, Sterne färben. Meine Ankunft in Wörtern und Das Wasser unserer Träume. Die Studie zielt in diesem Sinne darauf ab, den Sprachgebrauch durch die Autorin als Werkzeug zur Identitätskonstruktion sowie zur Gestaltung metaphorischer Alternativen bzw. The Picture of Devil / Deuce in the works of K. J. Erben and P. Dobšinský. An Ethnolinguistic Examination.
No full textThis diploma thesis focuses on ethnolinguistic examination of language within the textual domain of folklore texts. Firstly, the thesis presents its core terms from the ethnolinguistic field of study - linguistic picture of the world, stereotype, and profile. The thesis also presents the authors of folk tales Karel Jaromír Erben and Pavol Dobšinský, together with the context of their original work and folk text collecting endeavours, bearing in mind the context of the Romantic myth and the Romantic idea of folk culture. The philosophical concepts of culture in Dobšinský's work are also presented, as well as folk tales in the context of Slovak Romanticism. Following this introductory section, we present methodological principles of work with our material, which we chose from Czech and Slovak folk tales, namely the collections of folk tales České pohádky (Erben, 1970) and Slovenské pohádky (Dobšinský, 1957, translation J. Spilka). The core section of this thesis follows the introduction and is structured as a corpus of attributes of deuce / devil in the works of Erben and Dobšinský. Both corpora (each for one author) are then presented as tables showing each facet, which clearly present a cognitive definition of deuce / devil. From this material and its representation, we can pinpoint the contemporary concept of deuce / devil in Czech and Slovak national context. Both definitions are compared in the final part of this thesis

Gender stereotypes in the chosen fairy tales by Božena Němcová and Karel Jaromír Erben
No full textI'm engaging in gender stereotypes in selected fairy tales by Božena Němcová and Karel Jaromír Erben in my dissertation. There is a gender discourse incorporated in their fairy tales, which serves as the basis for assumption of gender roles and fairy tales are becoming significant factor by gender socialization. Using feminist literary analysis I analyzed chosen fairy tales by author and authoress and classified characters from the gender perspective. I was focusing more thoroughly on four typologicaly different fairy tales (two by Němcová, two by Erben) and I was trying to demonstrate different conception and representation of femininity in them. I was investigating, which gender stereotypes are submitted to children, what kind of material is in that way submitted them to construct their gender identity and to accept gender role and whether fairy tales reproduce patriarchal gender order. Although in sporadic cases some characters exceed conventional gender roles, issues which resulted from my analysis showed, that fairy tales mostly reproduce gender inequality of patriarchal society and represent characters in gender stereotyped way

No full textTato práce je zaměřena na proces analýzy, návrhu, vývoje a otestováni fron-tendu klientské strany webové aplikace Photographix, což je služba pro foto-grafy usnadňujici distribuci fotografii, at' už v digitálni nebo papirové podobě, klientům. Autorem této aplikace je Ing. Marek Erben, který v rámci své di-plomové práce spolu s týmy studentů bakalářského studia na FIT ČVUT vypracoval velkou část administrativni strany aplikace. V této práci se nejprve zaměřuji na analýzu současného stavu projektu, funkčnich požadavků a konkurenčnich služeb. Následně se věnuji návrhu od vymezeni připadů užiti přes tvorbu lo-fi prototypu uživatelského rozhrani pro mobilni zařizeni i větši obrazovky až po otestováni navrženého prototypu. V závěru své práce se věnuji popisu implementace stěžejni funkcionality, zvo-lených technologii, popisu architektury aplikace, jejimu otestováni a navrženi rozšiřeni této aplikace do budoucna. Praktická část této práce je navržena ve webovém frameworku Vue.js spolu s knihovnami, jako napřiklad Vuetify, o kterých mluvim vice v přislušné ka-pitole. Mnou navržená část aplikace konzumuje REST API, jež je průběžně vyvijeno dle potřeb frontendu.Main goal of this thesis is to create analysis, design prototype model, implement and test client side of Photographix web service frontend, which is a service for photographers which makes it easier to distribute their photos (be it in paper or digital form) to clients. Author of this application is Ing. Marek Erben, who developed a substantial part of administrative side of this application in his diploma thesis in collaboration with teams of students of bachelor's courses of FIT CTU. First chapter of this thesis is about analysis. i analyse current state of this application, functional requests and concurrence for this application. Next chapter is about design. First part of this chapter is about creating a list of use cases for this application. Next section is all about designing lo-fi prototype for mobile and desktop devices. In the end of this chapter I talk about how I tested designed prototype and what benefits did it provide. Last chapter is about implementation of core functionality. I talk about what technologies did I choose, architecture of this application, methods of testing of this hi-fi prototype and suggestions for future expansion. Client side frontend which I designed consumes REST API which is being continuously developed for needs of frontend
