ABSTRACT Woman and her world are kind of mysterious things. Their mystery still exists until now. Through the main character, Anne Bronte as the author of the novel Agnes Grey conveyed that woman also has uniqueness personality. Woman’s uniqueness’s are including their self-standing, self-confidence, the way woman choose their life choice, tenderness, beauty, and lowliness. Actually, woman is created by those characters is to accompany and help men in facing the world. Woman overcomes every personal problem using those unique characters. By using definition of uniqueness according to W.G. Allport and Dr. Kartini Kartono, woman uniqueness described as central traits includes behavior pattern, attitude, and someone’s sight or view to something. This research elaborates two significant problems; they are (1) What are kinds of woman uniqueness owned by Agnes Grey in Agnes Grey by Anne Bronte, (2) What are kind of process development owned by Agnes Grey. This research is done to find out these problems. The researcher uses woman psychology to analyze these problems, especially theory that study about woman unique characters. Actually, women do not to be a masculine person in fighting the patriarchy because their own power is in their femininity. God creates woman to be a strong woman in their character while He creates man in their masculinity. In this research, two findings can be stated as the answer of the problem of the study. The first is, the woman uniqueness revealed in Agnes Grey by Anne Bronte, they are woman self-confidence, self standing, their life choice, beauty, tenderness, and lowliness. The second one is, the way woman overcome the psychological problems in Agnes Grey using their power and personal maturity. These psychological problems classified in internal and external problems
