Learning self-service skills of 2-3 year old children in the pedagogical process

Darbs sastāv no divām daļām: 1.Teorētiskā daļa, 2.Empīriskā daļa. Teorētiskajā daļā: tika analizēta zinātniskā literatūra par pašapkalpošanās prasmju būtību pirmsskolas periodā un 2-3 gadus vecu bērnu attīstības raksturojums pētnieciskā temata kontekstā. Darba autore analizēja un aprakstīja, kādi ir pedagoģiskie nosacījumi, lai pašapkalpošanās prasmju attīstība noritētu pedagoģiskajā procesā. Empīriskajā daļā: tika veikts vērojums par bērnu pašapkalpošanās prasmēm pirms pētījuma uzsākšanas un to raksturojums. Darba autore izvirzīja četras pašapkalpošanās prasmes (ievēro personīgo higiēnu, uzvelk un novelk apģērbu, ievēro galda kultūru, apmeklē labierīcības) un veica pedagoģisko izmēģinājuma darbību, lai šīs prasmes uzlabotu. Pēc pedagoģiskās izmēģinājuma darbības, tika apkopoti rezultāti un izdarīti secinājumi. Kvalifikācijas darbs sastāv no: 43 lapaspusēm, 3 tabulām, 16 attēliem, 8 pielikumiem, 32 izmantotās literatūras. To empirically study the promotion of self-care skills of 2-3 year old children in the preschool pedagogical process, 3. Develop conclusions. The work consists of two parts: 1.The theoretical part 1.The empirical part In the theoretical part: the empirical part the scientific literature on the nature of self-care skills in the preschool period and the characteristics of the development of 2-3 year old children in the context of the research topic were analysed. The author of the work analysed and described the pedagogical conditions for the development of self-service skills to take place in the pedagogical process. In the empirical part: an observation of children's self-care skills was made before the start of the study and their characteristics. The author of the work identified four self-care skills (observes personal hygiene, puts on and takes off clothes, observes table manners, visits the restrooms) and conducted a pedagogical pilot activity to improve these skills.After the pedagogical pilot activity, the results were collected and conclusions were drawn. In the theoretical part of the work, the author analyses the essence, meaning and possibilities of learning vocabulary in preschool; characterizes the regularities of speech development and vocabulary acquisition of children aged 1.5–2 years in its context; examines familiarity with natural events as a means of promoting vocabulary learning. In the empirical part of the work, the author specifies the criteria; determines the level of development of the vocabulary of the studied group at the beginning of the study; performs pedagogical trial activity and measurement of the dynamics of the level of development of vocabulary; summarizes the conclusion, makes recommendations. The author of the work concludes that the research has been successful and it is possible to enrich the vocabulary of children aged 1.5-2 years by getting acquainted with the natural processes in the environment. Dissertation “The relations between the Church and State in Latvia: 1906-1940” has
been written at University of Latvia, Faculty of History and Philosophy, Department

Acquirement of speech skills in the process of getting acquainted with literary works among six-years old children

Kvalifikācijas darba vadītāja: Aija Kalve Ineses Daukštes kvalifikācijas darba tēma ir „Sešgadīgu bērnu runas prasmju apguve literāro darbu iepazīšanas procesā”. Kvalifikācijas darba mērķis ir teorētiski noskaidrot un praktiski pētīt bērnu runas prasmju sekmēšanas iespējas literāro darbu iepazīšanas procesā. Lai mērķis tiktu sasniegts, bērni tika novēroti daiļdarbu lasīšanas laikā, tika spēlētas lomu rotaļas, lai sekmētu bērnu stāstītprasmi, raksturojot notikumus un tēlus literārajos darbos. Kvalifikācijas darbā autore iepazīstas un analizē pedagoģijas un psiholoģijas literatūru par runas un valodas attīstību. Tika izmantotas pārrunas, novērošanas metode, kā arī tika veikts pedagoģiskais izmēģinājums. Purpose of the qualification paper is to theoretically clarify and practically research the ability to improve children’s mutual speech skills through acquaintance with literary works. In order to obtain the necessary information, the children were observed while they were reading, role-play games were played to improve children’s narrative skills by describing events and characters from the literary works. In the qualification paper the author analyzes pedagogy and psychology literature on speech and language development. Discussions, observation method, as well as pedagogical trial were conducted in the process. Through the research it was confirmed that the acquirement of speech skills in the process of getting acquainted with literary works among six years old children will be successful if •the chosen literary works are suitable for the according age group; •the chosen methodological techniques contribute to the development of speech; •the literary works are being read on a regular basis. The research was conducted in the Riga Preschool Educational Institution X. The research base was formed on six-years old children.
